Hey guys i been Searching all over the place for a answer to my problem well i got my ps3 as a gift about 6 weaks ago and in the past 2 weaks When i put MW2 in it i just freezez on the black screen and doesnt load or anything i had to turn of ps3 remove disk and open the ps3 and wait for it 5 minutes and then put CD and it will load but now it wont load at all i put in any cd it will load but MW2 wont load So i tried deleting all of the accounts on the ps3 and it didnt worked i tried restoring and reformating th ps3 and i tried deleting the MW2 update ver 1.10 the latest or i dont know but i have latest i tried deleting and downloading and installing again and it still wont load and im not a person who knows how to mod so dont tell me to open the ps3 and remove the hardisk or something. please help me

When you put the mw2 disc in the ps3 does it show up in the xmb?

You could try giving the disc a clean.

if your other games are working check the disk for finger prints dirt etc. if there is then wipe the disc with a soft clothe from the inside out, make sure theres no scrathes on the disc this can cause problems, is there any cloudy looking areas on the back of the disc if there is then its a faulty disc ive had this problem my self

like biuy it a disk cleaner i tride cleaning the disk many times and idk what xmb is lol

i tried cleaning it i cleaned it no happier disk than mine lol but my little brother put the disk in now and idk how he started the game im scared to exit game and then i wont be able to play it again and oh yea on the sin my little brother made a tiny dent barely noticable its like u shaped dent very smal

u shaped dent?There's a good chance when it has to read that part of the disc it will freeze or crash, lets hope it keeps on working for you, you probably know all ready but only pick the disc up by the edges this minimises finger prints and damage to the disc,

removed disk now and went i meant u shap disk as an if u took a ruler and tried sawing the disk in half and then u got scared and stopped at the first time u swung the ruler
