According to the Stealth Clown on twitter non-Elite people can buy the DLC in March, so....more or less confirmed - Jan 24th : Xbox Premium, Late Feb : PS3 Premium, March : everyone else (Non-Premium xbox & PS3 users).

yeah a complete ripoff, i dont see the point in elite its pointless how can they state get first access when you have to wait a month extra if your a ps3 user i wont be renewing.

Its been in the Elite FAQ since the beta that xbox gets it first, 30 day M$ deal and all that. Been like that since CoD4 i think.

Yes (If you plan to buy ALL of it), the DLC is the only thing that makes Elite worth it!

Also....

According to the Activision press release the first three "Content drops" look like this :

Jan (Feb for PS3*) - 2 maps

Feb (March for PS3*) - 1 map

March (April for PS3*) - 2 maps

(I guess Non-premiums will be able to buy the 5 map pack in March)

* not mentioned in the press release but.....you know the dealio!

Looking at that calendar it looks like the 5 map pack will be available for PS3 in April for non premium elite users also.

Rolling out the maps like that is bull***** - Dont get me wrong I want the maps but drppping them a couple of time does not make sense.  Are they going to setup a playlist like they did in blops just to play the new maps? Not sure about playing 1 or 2 maps over and over again would be fun. 

Also although I got Elite - this is a *****ed up timetable and so far to date I have received nothing worth while which was promised, so mucking around with map packs is helping me show the love for elite
