It depends how you define the word 'worst'. I'd say that none of the cods are bad really and would give them all decent ratings. I'd say that as with all cod's you have your good and bad times. With MW3 however, i am having an increasing amount of games where i go negative, its not really too much of a bad thing but it is affecting my psychologically and i can't stop thinking about my k.d

Am i correct in thinking that mw3 was made by half the team that made mw ,mw2 after a fall out, as that would explain to me why its not up to scratch but playable.

I think that you are 100% right! Half of Infinity Ward, half the quality. Infinity Ward made quality, this is not. Even the graphics look dated! Whoever designed the maps need their heads examining. AND the overly, unnecessarily complicated create a class menu's, don't get me started. Sometimes simplicity is best.

The online in MW3 is unquestionably inferior to that in Black Ops. The MW3 maps are devoid of any imagination and meaningful variety whereas Black Ops has a range of styles. MW3 maps are all rat races with 25,000 paths in which you constantly get shot in the back.
The maps in BO are brilliantly designed in the respect that you may have a vantage point but you are always vulnerable from other points while MW3 has a huge number of locations where you can be rendered virtually untouchable from return fire.
Black Ops has a much fairer approach to killstreaks by which your kills direct from killstreaks do not count towards your next killstreak. People have to actually shoot each other in BO whereas people lay in the grass in MW3 as a pavelow fires them to a dominant victory.
BO has the massively annoying Second Chance perk and a quite unreliable connection. That is pretty the only things wrong with that game whereas MW3 has poor and unbalanced design littered throughout it's structure. Plus, who thought a perk which delays the detonation of claymores and mines was a good idea? Ridiculous.
Quick scoping... Need anymore be said about this shocking inclusion?
Last night I got so frustrated with MW3 I switched it off and Im not exaggerating when I say I will never play it online again as I have returned to BO which is so much better.
Infinity Ward has this hype about it which seems to elevate the studio to such a high level in most gamers minds that it is seen as a developer that can do no wrong - IW is correct and Treyarch is rubbish argument. Assuming Treyarch improves it's own online style with the abolition of Second Chance and enhanced connection performance it will have the perfect COD online formula.
MW3 has the more enjoyable campaign over BO I admit but they only last a few short hours.

@ Paul2007
I agree about the maps to a point but over time I have seen many plus points to them.
For one, with all the buildings, it is hard for killstreaks to dominate the game the same way as they did in Black Ops.
In BO, if you got a chopper gunner you were pretty much certain to finish top scorer, especially on something like Jungle.
Secondly, my biggest grief with Black Ops maps were that there were just too many buildings with good vantage points.
You could hole up in a building and have pretty much a full view of the whole battlefield and always have a good angle to get people attacking from any direction.
And with the claymores being so powerful and almost invisible in BO, it became a campers paradise.

I agree , MW3 is annoying as hell, the noise and effects when you get killed really pees me off.
It's just a stressed out game to play, it's not enjoyable in any way.
After all the issues on blops were fixed the game eventualy turned out to be enjoyable, Nuketown, Launch, Cracked, Firing Range, Grid, Havana, Summit, Radiation , WMD ......... ALL THESE ARE CLASSIC MAPS.
Now then .... classic maps on MW3 .................... erm ....... ![]()
