Hi guys , i need some help for my friend who has a strict NAT type on MW2 . Can anyone tell me what the ports are etc.

I wouldn't bother looking at it, mine said open then after the update said moderate, do a connection test and check the nat type make sure it's 2 or at least 1, any other it's because either your nat type on the router is available.

I had this problem yesterday mate. I went into my router's home page (bthomehub.home, if he's with bt, if not, then he can just enter his ip address into IE), and ensured that UPnP was enabled. I also took my router out of DMZ for the PS3 (had it in DMZ for the probs with FIFA 10, might have nothing to do with it though), all I did then was re-run my internet connection on the PS3, before resetting my router. It did the trick, i'm now Nat Type 2 and Open. Hope this helps.

you need to go into your router and open ports 3074-3075 and then go into your PS and give it a static ip and use that ip in your router for the place you want those ports open for. hope that helps.
