Kotaku has posted new details about the multiplayer perks and killstreak rewards for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
This information comes via insider sources, not Activision, so none of it has been confirmed for final release. Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling even debunked some of the report by saying, "Lots of false Modern Warfare 3 info being reported" over Twitter.
Sources tell the website that 20 maps are in development for Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer, though it's unclear how many will be made available on the disc and sold later as additional download content.
Kotaku's sources also say Modern Warfare 3 features Team Perks, where teams must work together to earn. Details on how Team Perks will be implemented remain unknown. Four of the supposed team perks reportedly include: Stopping Power, Blast Shield, Health Regen, and Stun Protection.
New perks to the game's multiplayer include: Blind Eye, Assassin, Point Guard, Dead Silence, and Recon. It's believed that some older perks will be carried over from Modern Warfare 2, not Black Ops.
Lastly, the website reported new killstreak rewards, which can be seen below. The Tactical Nuke killstreak has apparently been removed from Modern Warfare 3.
EMP Grenade: Temporarily takes out all area electronics
Littlebird: A tiny remote-controlled helicopter.
Precision Airstrike: Calls in an airstrike on a targeted area.
Stealth bomber: Calls in a B2 Spirit to carpet bomb along a line designated by the player.
Remote Turret: A remote controlled turret.
Directional UAV: A UAV that can be directed into areas to scan for enemies.
Remote Mortar: Direct a mortar team using a zoomable camera view of the map to call in strikes.
Airdrop Trap: A booby-trapped airdrop.
Ammo Resupply: An ammo reloading airdrop.
Escort Airdrop: A protected airdrop.
Specialist Strike Package: This one remains a mystery to us.

Ya can't really rely on whether this is fact or not but this is the sorta thing that annoys me about DLC.
If its made before release, whack it on the disc. Don't hold stuff back so ya can charge people an extra 10 pounds later down the line ![]()

Thats what EA did with BFBC2. Except they were free. Providing you had a new copy of the game. If you bought a pre owned you had to buy a VIP code for £7 if you wanted to play them.
