Steady Aim Pro stuck - help.

I am trying to get Steady Aim Pro.  I am currently stuck on 47 kills from the hip with Steady Aim enabled.

No matter now many kills I get from the hip with any weapon any map it remains stuck at 47 kills from the hip.  I am told you need a total of 120.

Any idea why this is?  All my other perk progress work OK.  It is so frustrating as I must now of tried 2000 kills from the hip to get this counter to move up.   This problem exists for both free for all and multiplayer.

Not worth playing really if you can't progress.  Thanks.

Re: Steady Aim Pro stuck - help.

Re: Steady Aim Pro stuck - help.

I've tried ACR, AK-47, P90.  And still the count won't go up.  I defiantly have the perk enabled.  It must be a game fault as the guys on the official forum have had similar problems:  http://www.modernwarfare3forum.com/topic/17282-specialist-perk-setups-whats-your-perk-progression/

In black-ops, I used HS_10 Dual wield to get my Steady aim pro unlocked, also found out if I used a normal gun, like ACR, i might look down the sight.

Now this is something you should not do, for steady aim you need to shoot with lot looking down sight, and the best way to combat this is to go akimbo with the FMG9, so I would say, give this weapon ago, and see how you get on

Re: Steady Aim Pro stuck - help.

I would report it to IW, that or what and see if it fixes itself after you prestiege although depending if you are going to prestiege / how far away from prestiege you are might take a while.

Now 1 st prestiges, and once again have just unlocked Steady aim pro, with FMG9 Akimbo, and all done with in 5-7 games, so no problem here, average of 20+ kills per game

Maybe the problem the op  is having, is he is not firing from the hip, so no looking down the sights, so op, are you hip firing or looking down sight

Re: Steady Aim Pro stuck - help.

I am firing from the hip.  The counter starts and stops randomly.  It was stuck on 47.....it started working again and now it is stuck on 112.  It must be a random glitch.

See the link I posted above.  It is not just me and it is not just for this perk.  It looks like their perk count system randomly **cks up now and again for some.
