So, anyway, I have noticed some locked threads referring to game/DLC sharing.  Well, for some reason, in my downloads list I have the CoD4 map pack listed as downloadable, for free.  I don't own CoD4 but I have played it at a friend's house a lot, with the map pack.

I'll probably get my own copy or the game soon.  Now, there is no way I can actually now pay for this as it thinks I've already bought it.  Unless I buy the (overpriced even now) GOTY version which comes with the maps on disc, then I'll be forced to download the maps and vioalte the Terms & Conditions.

Though, I think DLC should be free, I can't see a big evil company like Activision agreeing to that.  I was wondering how much difficulty I'd have playing MW2 (which I have just bought myself - after playing at my friend's since day of release) without purchasing the DLC, which I see as not worth £11.  Yes, playing Overgown (not Crash, yuck)  again with the shiny new perks is OK, and the actual new maps are OK but I think I'll wait till the price is lowered or it is offered as a bundle with the second map pack (inevitable Activision greed tactic).  Also, and I know this is getting looong, but on World at War currently the map packs maps are usually skipped every time they appear, so there must be a lot of non-owners of map packs online.  Will this be the case; therefore I can play with no problems, on MW2?
