yea, the framerate is pretty poor, especially when somebody drops napalm bombs. grahics in MP have taken a huge step backwards... WAW was much better than this.

anybody finding their ranking dropped? I reached level 11 and went to enter a demolition lobby when I got a host error message. after returning to the main MP screen I was back to level 10. not a big deal but it just seemed a little weird.

love zombies on co-op though, level 8 is furthest I made it with a few others.

I like the storyline on campagin. pretty strong and well directed. not as good as MW1 but still an improvement on MW2. feel like I might be about to have seizure during the cutscenes!

Online is immense, vast improvements on all other previous COD games. Spawn points need fixing but that's the only real problem.

Haven't played zombies or SP.

i think its a huge step back from mw2 tbh from what ive played so far of the mp.......too many bullets to kill people is so annoying but ima give it a chance maybe it was just a bad day....it reminds me alot of w@w which i didnt like at all

Well now havin completed COD and had sum time 2 reflect I must say I'm not that impressed. I feel it completely missed a trick with the era and especially the bits in Nam. These bits shud have been so atmospheric and tense. Enclosed and claustrophobic jungles, cramped tunnels, VC jumping out on u and having to bash buttons 2 fight 4 ur life, but no none of that really. There was a little in the tunnels but nothing that had me on the edge of my seat not wanting 2 turn the next corner 4 the fear of a booby trap or a VC waiting to impale me. 

Also wen u think of that era and Nam u immediately conjure up images of a Huey speeding over paddy fields, with a GI leaning out of an open door blasting away with an MG, all to the sounds of the classic music from that era. Where was a level like that?!?! Where was all the music from the era that is synonymous with Nam?!?!  

Or GI's pinned down and surrounded, calling in napalm strikes left, right and centre from fast air. Think any of the scenes from Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Hamburger Hill, We Were Soldiers all theatrical and atmospheric, modern games shud b like that, it's what the modern gamer expects and this wasn't. 

I thought the new MOH was a bit disappointing and was looking forward to COD. But I think COD was even more disappointing. For me the best FPS recently has been BF BC2 and I can wait 4 the new Nam version of that. Hopefully it will b all that COD shud have been but wasn't. Cone on BF don't let me down. The BF boys havnt released anything since BC2, but they're still the winners even tho they havnt done anything coz bot MOH and COD were so disappointing.

Not played the single player yet so judgement is reserved.

Multiplayer has been a mixed affair for me....... Some times I couldn't join a game telling me that there wasn't anything. Sometimes I would join a game and then get disconnected (saying transmittion error) and once or twice i've had the worse lag i've seen in any game i've played (which is bad when you consider how bad it was on Warhawk at some stages). In terms of in game play I never quite understand how I can get knifed from the end of an alleyway but i'll put that down to my noobiness. Most frustrating thing as someone has mentioned is having the other team literally spawn on you if your far enough away from the majority of your team mates. Same works on the other foot when you've just been killed and you spawn to just get killed by the person who has just killed you 3 seconds before. Quite like the RC car just because you tend to **** yourself whenever you hear it nearby and you try to run away or get up a ladder to avoid it. LOL

Things I have enjoyed are the zombie mode (on co-op) and the coin arcade zombie mode. Both quite funny and engaging in their own rights. Brilliant additions to the game (never played W@W).

I suppose I was spoiled with the last battlefield game in regards to certain aspects of gaming (destruction, Gun sound and vehicles) and might have had too high expectations of the game.

Single Player AI is a joke.

Your team mates are more likely to get in your way then provide any help.

The enemy AI also seem to think your the only person shooting at them, they will charge at you, gun blazing and pass all your teammates in the process......Very annoying.

Multiplayer is fun, though quite hard.

It now takes a few bullets to kill someone, which is a good thing.

Maps have the general COD feel, not being too big and not feeling too cramped.

You can also do splitscreen online, which is awesome imo.

Theater mode is brilliant. An epic Kill or Fail is now able to be watched over and over again  

Only down side is that online isnt very stable atm. Games will drop quite often, especially if your in a party. 

Overall its a great game, the sheer amount of content makes it a buy on its own.

Played about 6 hours online mainly free for all, So far i am enjoying it especially the wager matches. I agree the sound and graphics are not as good but that does not make a game look at the original worms.

I am also getting this lag where the frame rate seems to drop, But will give it time. I am having no problems with any kill streaks so far. I like how it takes more to kill some one a tad little more health would make it perfect tho.

Completed the campaign on hardened in under 6 hours including breaks, so roughly 5 hours. Some good n bad points, I won't include spoilers.

The voice acting was decent, the dialog was dreadful.
The campaign was irritating, not difficult. As stated before your teammates just have a habbit of getting in the way and it does get tiresome after a while.
The conclusion was pretty lame, however...

Zombies is still pretty cool.

If I had my money in my hand, I don't know if I'd buy it again. Definately not for the campaign, its average at best. I'll see tomorrow evening what multiplayer is like, otherwise I might just trade it in for some credit towards AC Brotherhood if I can be bothered to go through the campaign on vet to plat this thing over the next 9 days.

So finally got on last night after seeing everyone playing it while i was at work. I got about 4 hours worth of online play. Haven't touched the Campaign yet.

In short, I think its a vast improvement from MW2. It seems so much more balanced with the guns/perks etc. I found the guns also quite challenging at first but everyone really needs work on them to master them, which is a good thing. Lots of recoil needs getting used to, but I like it. I love the customisation you can do to your gun/face etc (when you hit the rank).
The maps I personally feel are the best I have seen in any COD game so far. They are varied, have plenty of routes to key areas and not many camping places for snipers. The new equipment are great, if used well too. In all, I had a great time last night testing it out. With any game it takes a while to get into it, but I so far this has grabbed my attention and I am definitely looking forward to getting back on.

Ignoring the slight lag/frame rate drops here and there, the game will be a classic. But these problems will eventually get sorted. Another thing is that there seems to be alot more maps this time round. That can only be a good thing.

ps. Loved Jungle, what a classic map that will turn out to be.

Completed SP early last night Only on the average setting whatever its called. I try not to compare black ops with COD4 and MW2. As there all differnt games!! Like everyone has been saying the graphics arent as good for some reason !?!?! which confuses me.But the game is still fun.

Single player was good but quite a confusing storyline i thought, i got lost half way through and just carried on as i enjoy shooting people . Gameplay is exactly the same as other COD games so no changed there solid gameplay all the way through. And yes the ai is a bit bad sometimes but not all the time. And i swear sometimes it seems they pop out the ground lol. So i think its a pretty good single player campaign. But i think no one plays COD for single player hench most people on my psn friends list where all playing online.I thought as soon as i got the game complete SP first then just play online after.

Ive only had a few games of TDM online and i think online its pretty much the same as other COD games minus some graphics. I just cant wait to go up a few levels to get hald decent weapons. So i just find myself picking up other people weapons who are of a higher level which makes things much easier. I think i find it harder than MW2 maybe because all the maps are new and take time to learn also starting with crap weapons which i cant remember happening in MW2 as it was last year

Overall a good game Cant stand the topics on here saying its the worst cod game ever!?!?! its not
