Trouble Joining Games in MW3

Every time I try to join certain friends that have open space in an online game already in progress I receive a message claiming that I don't have the map that they are playing in, even though it is always one of the initial maps that everyone gets. When I attempt joining another friend's game I have no problems. Is anyone else having this issue as well? Thanks.

It's because you get put into games with people who have the map pack if you do too, and if you dont have it you will be put in games with other people who don't have the maps. It's so that the new maps can be used on normal playlists rather than just the DLC playlists.

You could try partying up and then joining a game together.
