and plus, realistic games can be very fast paced. take battlefield for example, the explosive damage is realistic, and its very fun. If the GL is going to cause heavy damage, then they should just make it a very hard attachment to unlock, such as 50 kills with the undermounted shotgun. and wouldn't it be great to have 30+ guys per team? Albeit, there would be alot of killstreaks alive at one time, but that's just the fun of it. and then you can imagine ground war, 100+ players per team...

I suggest you venture into Battelfield mate...its sounds like your cup of tea. I dont have MW3 but the COD series isnt about big battles with a lot of players. Its about jumping off a rooftop doing a 360 spin and no scoping someone on the other side of the map. COD is for the pick up n play generation and as so is arcadey. if you after a more realistic experience try something else

i just find it ironic how COD says their game will be one of the most realistic games ever, yet its so unrealistic. they did the same thing with the m16 in mw2, BO, and MW3. i liked the m16 from cod 4, and i wish they'd bring its power back into the games

The M16 from COD4 was hugely overpowered. One burst with Stopping Power equipped and the other guy was dead,Kind of funny how you say overpowered weapons are the problem yet you enjoyed using the most overpowered weapon from COD4 .

Re: Realistic

I can't remember exactly when the game was released, about 5 weeks ago I reckon, and I have been playing the game to death and I am enjoying it more and more all the time.

Much of the networking problems have settled down (except host migrations) and any issues I do have are mainly related to other players which I can't really blame IW for.

So well done indeed IW!

Re: Realistic

have you ever played MAG? up to 130 players per team. maybe IW/Treyarch/Activision should take some connection solutions from them...

Re: Realistic

Oh, do you not remember the MP5 from COD4? it would smoke the M16 at close-semi medium range. and plus, 3 burst weapons should have that advantage, considering theyhave a HUGE disadvantage inbetween bursts. what I was saying is that it take from 2-3 burst from an m16 to kill someone nowadays, it just makes using the m16 frustrating.

Re: Realistic

exactly, I have no complaints about lag. it's all about the user's connection. since COD2 i have had almost perfect connection. and if i had bad connection, it was the host's fault, not IW's

Re: Realistic

if they want to fix the grenade launcher problem, all they need to do is make them act like the launchers. 99% of all grenade launchers have leaf sights. all COD needs to do is implement them, and when the player goes to launch the grenade, he must aim first. therefore giving back it's original use of large groups/campers and keeping them from being an all-dominate weapon by giving the person on the other end time to react.

Shotguns are CRAP

shotguns are the absolute worst they've ever been! the Model1887 which is claimed to have the most range (HA!) has a one hit kill dropoff at like 5 feet. honestly.... WHY?!?!?! i can see if its some sort of secondary.... but to make it a primary AND completely wreck its usability? Come on! IW has basically made MW3 only playable if you use assault rifles, the overpowered SMGs or the akimbo FMG9's. everything is off balance. shotguns, pistols, launchers, sniper rifles, the riot sheild, and LMGs are just complete and utter CRAP. All the gaming 'tards are just running crazy all over MW3. I didn't think I'd say this, but Treyarch has outdone IW on this one. I hope they learn from their mistakes.... I hope.
