Why Prestiege?

Hi,

Might sound like a stupid question but why prestiege?

Do you just get another space to make another class?

Also how long has it taken you guys to prestiege?

I play on the Xbox (Level 55) and PS3 (Level 35).

Thanks for any input.

Re: Why Prestiege?

I'm on 2nd prestige after around 1 day 20 hours playtime.

I don't see the point of staying on the same level, other then keeping the guns, which you earn back fairly quickly when you prestige.

Re: Why Prestiege?

I have two accounts, one for prestiging and one for sticking at level 80 and getting gold guns and stuff.

I have never prestiged more than once before since it seemed pointless but the prestige shop gives you something to play for, such as being able to unlock perks or guns to use throughout.

I am currently on the verge of prestige 5 and I was enjoying it but the chronic laggy games of the past few days together with the fact that every time I dominate a game it craps out with a server error, it means this prestige level has already taken over twice as long as the previous ones.

So it feels like a bit of grind now.
