We must be talking about MW2 here right?

I rarely come across campers on Blops> If i do then they are armed with the silenced spas. Blops is alot faster paced and camping and/or sniping dont seem possible. What with the stupid respawn points you stay in 1 place too long and they'll come behind you or respawn next to you. MW2 plays a bit more stealthy (depending on level obviously) you cant go running around like a loony on wasteland! Blops is all about running from 1 end of the map to the other killing as you go!

Blops camping is reserved for gold gunners only due to the fast paced nature of the game, you need to be experienced to do it 

Anyone tried homefront?

Was playing that and brink for a good while there and have to say those games open your eyes in different ways,  tactics and team play are eveything in brink so camping when your team goes for objectives is a rarity, also like the fact that melee is not a one hit kill.....there's every chance the guy you just meleed can still kill you. Also the buffing and supply ability factors in nicely as well to help root out enemy when you're on the attacking team.

As for homefront i suppose you do get campers ( mainly snipers....proper ones that lurk on rooftops and stuff ), but when you spawn back in you get an overview of the map showing everyones location, this mixed with the follow on cam can prove very useful to root them out, if that don't work............buy a tank!!!

Can't really see how cod could adopt any of these into there current set up without a major overhaul, but i think it would be nice to slide into a campers tent swipe his legs away then smash him in the face with the butt of your gun..........purely cause you can!!!!

I love campers since i started using the hacker perk.  They always let me know where they are hiding with their bright red claymore, motion sensor or uav jammer.  Just toss a grenade or semtex in there and bang another buzz kill lol.  I purposley seek out campers these days just to make things difficult for them.  Theres nothing funnier than getting together with a mate and slaughtering someone who constantly hides in a room or up on a balcony.    Snipers on the other hand I cant stand its just so unbalanced it drives me mad.

People are entitled to play the game how ever they want! For every camper there is a run and gun and everything in between. The game would be boring as hell if everyone played the same. No doubt you call people campers who guard their flag on capture the flag or people who defend their flags on domination. You hear people screaming camper when ever they get killed, its the new term for "I just got owned and need an excuse". So stop crying about it and just enjoy playing or play something else.
