Your Sneakiest Kill - Win a Collection 1 DLC code for Modern Warfare 3

Hi gang

So right now I'm giving you a chance to win one of 2 DLC codes for Collection 1.  If you want to know what thaty involves, have a read of this........

MW3 Collection #1 includes an unprecedented breadth and variety of content for Call of Duty® downloadable release – four brand new multiplayer maps Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box along with new Special Ops Missions Black Ice and Negotiator, marking the first time Special Ops has been made downloadable online in franchise history.

In “Black Box,” players will battle beside a downed Air Force One amidst multi-level homes overlooking the luxurious Southern California neighbourhood. Infiltrating a diamond mine aboard a snowmobile in the Special Ops mission “Black Ice,” your primary objective is to plant high-grade explosives in order to shut the mine down forever. In “Negotiator,” you head to India for high-stakes hostage extraction in which you’ll breach-and-clear rooms and navigate surface streets to ensure the safety of your VIPs.

So you get 4 multiplayer maps, Piazza, Overwatch, Liberation and Black Box.  Plus you get 2 Special Ops missions, Black Ice and Negotiator.

Now, if you're interested in winning this then I'll assume you already play Modern Warfare 3 so I'm going to run with a user generated content competition.

I want you to submit footage of your "sneakiest" kill using the games "theatre" mode.  This can be that one moment when you really got the drop on someone without them even noticing.

The 2 kills judged the sneakiest and most deadly will win the codes.

There are a couple of rules I want to put out there in addition to the usual Terms and and Conditions we do

• The competition is only open to people in the UK and republic of Ireland
• You have to be 18 or older to enter
• Entries are to be uploaded via Modern Warfare 3's "Theatre" mode directly to Youtube and be provided in this thread as a link.  Therefore your clips will not be longer than 30 seconds.
• The competition ends on the 11th of June 2012 at 9 am

Specific Rules for Your Sneakiest Kill - Win a Collection 1 DLC code

1. This promotion is open to residents of United Kingdom and Ireland aged 18 years or over.

2. To enter this promotion, entrants must:

(i)            Go to their local language forum at http://community.eu.playstation.com/playstationeu (“the Forum”);

(ii)           Click on the Call of Duty board;

(iii)          Sign in to their PlayStation®Network (PSN Account), or if they don’t already have one, create and sign in to a PSN Account;

(iv)         Post a link of 30 seconds of footage of what they consider to be their sneakiest or unassuming kill in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

3. Registration for PSN is subject to acceptance of the PSN Terms of Service and User Agreement and PSN Privacy Policy.

4. The opening date is 29/05/2012 at 0900 BST and the closing date is 11/06/2012 at 0900 BST.

5. All entries must be original and the entrant’s own work (please click on the General Rules for further details). Entrants may enter the promotion only once and will only be eligible to win one prize.

6. Entrants must use the "Theatre" mode in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 for the PlayStation 3 to edit together a maximum of 30 seconds of footage from their own gameplay.  Using the "Online Vault" option, they must upload this footage directly to Youtube and post the link towards this footage in the competition thread.

7. Entrants must adhere to the General Rules and in particular, to sections 7 and 8. In addition, entries must not contain any (i) pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit imagery, (ii) abusive, offensive or hateful imagery or language, (iii) harassing or defamatory content, (iv) content that compromises the privacy or safety of yourself or others, (v) content that demeans a particular gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, ethnicity or nationality, (vi) violent or dangerous behaviour, and/or (vii) spam, advertising or other commercial activities.

8. Following the closing date, the judge(s) will select 2 winner who they consider have submitted the most impressive footage depicts a "sneaky" kill delivered to an opponent who has not been alerted to the players intentions.

9. The prize for the winner is a voucher code for the Collection 1 map pack for PlayStation 3. The total value of the prize is approximately £11.49. PSN voucher codes are subject to terms and conditions of use. Please click here for details. PSN voucher codes are not transferable and may not be re-sold. No cash alternatives will be offered. PSN voucher codes have an expiry date which will be communicated with the code.

10. The winner will be notified by e-mail within 2 weeks of the closing date and will be given 4 weeks to claim their prize.

11. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to dispatch the prize within 30 days of receipt of the entrant’s claim but the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for prizes that are dispatched later than this period.

12. Prizes shall be sent by email or post to the address associated with the winner’s PSN Account.

13.  If the prize is found to be defective or damaged on delivery, the Promoter must be notified in writing within 7 days of the delivery date, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be accepted as delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights (if any).  

14. The Promoter shall publish the winner’s PSN online ID and country of residence on the Website. Entries may remain on the competition thread within the Forum at the Promoter’s discretion.

Hey Yaster,

I'm in a bit of a predicament here... my clip was over 30 seconds and I deleted the original match video long ago. So, I had to record it with my PS Vita (admittedly not the best quality video) and I've since uploaded it to youtube. It was only the first 20 seconds or so that I had intended to keep so I assume it will be ok to enter the competition?

I have tried editing the clip but it won't let me! So unless someone knows how to edit a clip, I'm stuck with this Vita video...

Like I say, I have already edited the video beforehand in theatre mode and it will be under 30 seconds so my video can be counted, right?

It's a great kill, but unfortunately I must go with the rules for the competition and only accept a direct YT clip.

Are you sure you don't have it in your file share anywhere?

The clip itself is in my fileshare for others to view, but is longer than 30 seconds. Unless I were to upgrade to premium (which I am not prepared to do) I cannot upload the video! The actual full length match which can be edited has long since been removed by me... 

I don't suppose you can count the first 22 seconds of the clip in the vault itself? 

If not, I can give an alternative clip from Black Ops, the same rules do apply I suppose but it isn't mw3 is it...

If that can't be allowed then there is another clip I also have which is more of me being sneaked upon without knowing and reacting without the guy knowing I would... but it isn't strictly a 'stealth' kill.
