It makes me wonder whether activision have actually sent duplicate codes out in the hardened editions and also if we cant redeem the codes by 2moro we also miss the double xp weekend.

yeah thats a fair point. 

Its annoying cos we've paid the extra money for the hardened edition and can't use or get the special features we've paid for. I might go and get a refund and just get the original. I'll just pay for the maps it'll probably work out cheaper anyway. Paying for the privilege of getting our "extra content" later than everyone else is crap.

So I have just called sony network support and spoke to a verry helpful guy who confirmed that there is a issue with the codes and mine as been used in germany

i've been on the phone to activision for 15 mins. I'm still waiting. started out 44 in line now at 25. my wait time goes up though everytime the line goes down??!!!!

so what did sony say. can they do anything?

No code the guy should said i will receive a call back in a few days time as sony and activision looking into the issues.

that is really really crap!!!! trading standards? 

not providing what you paid for? I'll let you know what activision say when i eventually get through, but it looks like i'll be taking my copy back for a full refund. 

I'm not paying extra for receiving nothing. may aswell save myself a few quid, and waiting "a few days" is unacceptable when you've paid for it.

just checked on trading standards. 

its classed as "not fit for purpose" ie can't use codes and "not as described".
