Hi Guys, Just want to return the favor for all those who has helped me solve issues using forums to post solutions... I've been online reading alot about that annoying "yes/no comfirm" screen. Guys that hasn't had that happen to them try to say game is hacked or disk is damaged or you got banned... Neither one of those are true... I dont know why really, but I found a fix to get around that screen, and it has worked for me. I wanted to share it with my fellow COD friends... Starting up the game like regular gets that annoying screen so this is what I did after few in depth trials.... I did everything from deleting game data, deleting my game profile, redownloading the game update, redownloading the game map pack, disconnecting my ethernet cable.. etc... etc... And i came up with a simple solution that has worked for me... i hope that it will work for u and you can pass it on in other forums to help solve this problem that I believe our latest ps3 updated did to the game...
STEPS:
Just start the ps3 and login to the PSN as normal ... (redownload all ur game update and map pack if u bought it) (If you start the game now like normal, u will get that confirm screen)
Goto Network Settings and "Disable" the internet option... Wait 5sec (thats what i did) and then "Enable" the internet option again ...
Then start the game and it will load up like regular without getting stuck on the confirm screen... But it seems i have to do these steps everytime i leave the game and restart it.... Its not a bad solution given I dont know why its necessary but it worked for me. It takes an extra 5sec to "Disable" then "Enable" the internet option... Thats why I believe it has to do with the latest PS System update... Its not the game, its not the disk, its not my psn act, its not because i cheated or hacked the game....
Please pass this on to our fellow COD4 friends or post in other forums to help get the word around... Its weird that few of my friends can load the game just fine without the confirm screen issue... I'll leave the problem solving to others who know more or why, I'm just posting what happen to me and others... And returning the favor ....

say hi if this fix worked for u... It would be cool to see how many I have helped with post... Merry X-Mas

Having same problem. Already exchanged for new one, got home same problem. Taking back store of purchase, and ask for a refund. What's sad is I got it brand new for $9.99+ tax on sale. Still never expected or experienced this before.
