My friend phoned my this morning to see if i had been given Elite for free,as when he turned on his ps3 this morning he had.
Anyone else get this or has he got lucky from someone else's mistake.

the elite app is free for everyone   just d/load it off the store.

it's the clan scoring and DLC via the elite that's subscription based as far as i know.

how did your friend get his free subscription to all the DLC etc? how does he know? if it's a message asking to provide your login details and they sort it for you then i suggest your friend changes his password asap!

Elite is free for everyone, Elite Premium is not.
If you register on the Elite website and link your PSNid you get two hours of double xp.

That would make more sence,do you get the elite emblem with this then this is the one thing that makes him think he got something for nothing lol.

You get the emblem if you go premium, which is £30 odd notes.

theres 2 sets of elite title and emblems, u get a title and emblem for dowloading the free app and another emblem and title when u subscribe and are a founder.

Turned out he filled in the app form weeks ago but only got the xp today. sounds about right for this game
