I paid 50+euro for this game that is full of hosting and lag issues, before we even get to glitches or the game mechanics.. I deserve a right to complain, just like people have a right to complain in the heavy rain forum.
This game is broken in my opinion, and is one of the worst i have played online, and ive been playing online on the ps2 when you had to buy an adapter, and even before that on the pc.
Fine, try convince yourself its a great game, but its not, it could have been, even the hardcore fanboys only do private matches on it these days.. Its rubbish, and its not spoilt to say that, its a billion dollar game, i can expect a working decent experience.
The offline was irritating, and the online, well if you play with total strangers, its just not up to scratch.
Id go so far as to say, anyone who thinks this is above ordinary, knows nothing about gaming.
As the OP said, you can have your opinions, but I believe your points are poor! Fanboy's and assuming we are completely ignorant about gaming is unfair and unjustified. Just because we may look for different things from games, does not demeen our opinions or views.
I LOVE MW2, simply because I just like picking it up when I can and putting it down when I can. It's taken my eye off my other games for now, which surely speaks volumes. There are glitches and cheats and some elements that have become stale, but I don't give a flying hoot hoot! I enjoy playing it, some don't, that's cool, what's not is being negatively branded something because we don't agree with your gamer values!
I am proud FANBOY of MW2.

think theres been some good points coming out here.
1. i dont have a problem with anyone complaining with any game, least of all mw2. but........ show me and others like me the same respect. someone automatically labelling me a mw2 'fanboy' says more about them than me.
2. its one thing to constructively criticise a game but to come back again and again going over the same old stuff rather than having your say and then moving on (and then often carrying on playing the game) must mean that these people have 'unresolved issues'.
3. in life nothing is good and nothing is bad, its only individual perceptions that give it the label of good or bad. in society (whether its right or wrong) things are usually good if enough people consider it so. on this basis hundreds of thousands of people playing everyday must mean something.
4. so far mw1&2 havent really had any competition in terms of the masses. i havent played bc2 yet but from everything ive heard so far its awesome. i think this is the key point, if there were other games that were as successful as mw2 in terms of mass appeal it would raise the bar for everyone. ive tried moving away from mw1&2 (not just in terms of fps) but i just keep coming back cos nothing else seems to pack the same punch.
5. finally (and probably the most significant point to come out of this thread)........................ clarkson is a legend! ![]()
