Sadly she just wasn't elite.

I think for the most part, the negative feedback heaped on MW2 is completely justified. I don't think it's spoilt to expect that a game functions as it was intended to, which unfortunately MW2 doesn't.

fair enough geezer, like i said in the op 'feel free to disagree'. my main point was, the only time this all feels a bit tiresome is with gamers who not only have their say about the negatives but then keep going over the same stuff again and again, (and then often carry on playing the game).

if i dont like a game i'll just stop playing it......... simple.

I still play it because it can be fun. But when I get to the point where i'm getting annoyed at it I just switch it off and play something else. I think it's a good game just unfortunately it has many issues which can make it extremely frustrating to play.

thats fair enough. we're coming at this from opposite ways but ironically in one way we're saying similar things: we enjoy playing the game but acknowledge that it has some downsides (i suppose the main difference comes from the extent to which the downsides effect our enjoyment of the game).

Re: is it trendy to moan about mw2?

Ive played it on my house mates 360 after playing 3/4/5 myself and I can see what the hype is about... Online it can be a very enjoyable game however... I still prefer Killzone 2. It has more variety... Different classes with multiple different abilities, not a few perks that change your playstyle a lil bit :smileyhappy: MW2 is a great game, Not something I'll be picking up in a hurry though :smileyhappy:

I fail to see how the modern gaming community is spoilt. The gaming industry has in many ways become the next music industry, in that all the good stuff was already made and the new stuff is just utter garbage.

You know why you cant find games anymore that compare to the classics on psx? (aside from MGS4) Because every single developer nowadays feels the need to halfass every single friggin game that comes out. Games come out unfinished and rushed, and then we have all that EA bullcrap with releasing DLC on day one to increase the price of the game.

We have games that come out nowadays like Heavy Rain, you go to the store and pay 70 f-ing euros for a new game and its over in 8 hours. Games like MAG, that have no single-player component whatsoever or MW2 where its practically non-existent. Games like FF13 that strip the elements of an rpg into the most basic form imaginable, and every single game apart from crap like army of two seems hellbent on ridding us of the option to play splitscreen friggin co op.

Reviewers toss around 9,0-9,5 ratings like they´re friggin candy, a halfway decent game that comes out nowadays is probably gonna end up scoring around an 8,5.

Yes, I realize this has nothing to do with MW2, I just disagree. Modern gaming sucks.

Re: is it trendy to moan about mw2?

Everyone has their opinions. Noones opinion is right or wrong in their own eyes but instead of just arguing of who's right and wrong just go play the game if you like it, and if you dont like it, go play something else!
