this has happened in quite a few games ive been in but i was just in a team deathmatch on derail and someone on the opposite team called in a chopper not long after the match began,it was enough time to rack up a killstreak to gain air support legitimately but the chopper stayed in the air firing for the rest of the game....

has anybody else experienced this?

Never experienced this. Are you sure it was the same chopper gunner and not that the enemy team had queued up choppers as if you call in a chopper after one is already in the air it just arrives straight after the first one ends.

I have had that a few times where the entire enemy team have the chopper type perks all set so it feels like there is always the same one in the air but they are different choppers.

im positive it was the same chopper cause it pops up in the bottom left naming the killer and the killed and it was the same guys name the whole time,ive noticed this happen in quite a few games cause when i get a chopper gunner it doesnt even last long(even when its not shot down) yet other peoples seem to last ages and this 1 apparantly lasted a near full match.

Not denying it might of happened after seeing some of the stuff our brethren have to deal with on the XBox.

However is it possible it may have been that the guy had the perk set so it comes one kill sooner

Then he went and got the first heli and used it in the mean time his body piloting was killed so once it ended it respawned.

In this time the guy was in the sky shooting someone else called in their own chopper queued and you didn't notice the change over

Then by the time this second heli ended the same guy from the start managed to get another one?
