strange noise in der riese why ?

why in the middle of the game you can hear a noise over and over like someone opened the stairs?

There's lots of strange sounds in Der Reise but weirdest one i had was a possible glitch kept saying MAX AMMO or INSTA KILL but we weren't getting them,any one had this? ... answer that question????
