Pretty heavy news despite things like this happening in Russia every couple of years... a suicide bomber detonated himself in the arrivals terminal, killing an estimated 35 and wounding over 100. If you have friends or family who may be in Moscow and you cannot contact them call the department of foreign affairs on 1300 555 135. It is unclear as to the motive or what political allegiance the bomber had as yet.

Maybe it's a bad thing to say in all this, but even though the events were different, I wouldn't be surprised if some lunatic decides to blame Modern Warfare 2 in some way just for having a terrorist attack in a Russian airport.

I haven't heard much about this, heard a bit about it on the way to work this morning. Gosh, some people are just crazy though, huh? It's really quite sad the lengths people go to and what drives them to do these things.

I do feel sorry for anyone who has been effected by this. It would be terrible to lose a friend or family member to an event like this one. Violence is bad enough, but terrorist attacks and the like are just crazy.

Yeah Im sorry but they must be messed up seriously, to think any God (which ever one you may or may not belive in) would condone the murder of any person whether it be a suicide bombing or what ever.

In my books that person gets nothing in the after life but pain and misery.

It's still unclear if it was a suicide bomber or a remote detonation as far as I know. Apparently the suitcase used had an explosive blast of the equivelant of 5KGs of TNT. The suitcase was also packed with metal objects to maximize the damage it would cause.

They've made it out to be a suicide bombing with the whole ''I will kill you all'' being shouted before the explosion but I don't think they're clear about it yet.
