My own brother LIED to me. I asked him where the videogames I bought had gone. I knew he sold them for his own selfishness how it got suspicious was that day I left the game Oblivion by the ps3 and it was gone the next day and he still won't admit.

Still feel ***** about it.

Re: Lolol at liars......

apparently lying shows intelligence in young kids, as they have learnt to lie to avoid getting into trouble.
i have a few "friends" who are chronic liars and tell elaborate stories that are too good to be true, and usuallly are. sometimes i would have been with them and later they tell the story completely differently that what i had seen

Re: Lolol at liars......

One of my friends recently got a working visa to go over to Canada and work at a fat camp.

I can just imagine her working them to their bones actually, making them do pushups...

But anyway...

My friend called me the other night and was telling me how there are alot of people who are working there with a visa and that there is another girl there from Australia but she is the only one my friend doesn't like so far and that's because she is a liar. This other australian girl has been over in Canada telling people we ride kangaroo's to school and have pet koala's LOL amongst other funny things...

Apparently my friend tried to confront her about it and have a bit of a joke but this girl wouldn't have a bar of it. Travelling around the world, living on lies.....

AND THEY ACTUALLY BELIEVE HER.

Re: Lolol at liars......

Lol, yeah we had an american exchange student when i was in yr 11. We told her that all of the kangaroos lived under the queen victoria building in the sydney CBD and they had to close the harbour bridge every afternoon at 4:30 so they could cross to the other side :smileytongue: She believed it and went into town to see them :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Lolol at liars......

Yeah re visiting this thread as I have caught more out.

Its funny when they say stuff and then you find out the truth behind it...

Wonder if people actually think they can get away with it??

Problem is these people I know are to close to home to mention but trust me they got busted......

Intelligence or possible pathological liar

I guess it takes some sort of "intelligence" too not get caught out when lying, cuz you would have to remember what lies you told, so you know what lies too tell, so you back up the original lies

Then of course there's the pathological liar who actually belives the lies they've told are true

This is too much, I need to lie down...........

*pun intende* :smileytongue:

Re: Lolol at liars......

LIars frustrate me. They really really do.
For example, my mother is a pathological liar. She will start a full scale argument for example about...."Eating all the food in the house". This particular argument im thinking about happened about 2 months ago. She was "Sick of me eating all the food in the house and not buying my own food". I had about 3 weeks worth of receipts still in my wallet of proof of me buying my own food.

With most women, I did what I had to do and shut my mouth and said "Yes mum, no mum, 3 bags full, Mum".
However, we went around to my Aunty's house, and she sat there going on about how I am always eating the food and blah blah blah. How I had admit to it and agreed and basically started to spin all these lies...to make the situation worse and so they'd believe her. SO in front of my family, i whipped out the receipts...caught her out big time :smileytongue:

Re: Lolol at liars......

This one was a bit of fun, I remember 2 years me and a couple mates were doing a bar crawl in the CBD. To mix things up we all came with "occupations" for each other, We had a ice cream van stunt driver, an underwater firefighter on an oil rig, and i got stuck with being a horsewhisperer.

Any girls we came across, we'd tell em what did for a living and form the most part, they were all convinced, Myself and friends were all happy with the effort, I remember one girl asked where i worked and made up some town in queensland and and she said she knew the town and lived there, for a bit of fun I spun things around by saying do know so and so from that town (obviously not real people).

Seeing this thread reminded of doing that, i guess i was more pleased on how well it worked if you are confident enough and not caring if you get caught if its such an exagerrated lie
