Moving out

Well, after months of living in the most tension fuelled emotional turmoil inducing living arrangement (my partner and I split up, but have been living together with our son) I have finally found my own pad to move in to.  I don't like that I won't be living with my son, but I will have him most nights after work, and in the weekends, so its all right.

Its funny you know, I've been really upset for the last few months, trying to make it work, yet my partner just had her own life and didn't want a bar of me - now I'm moving out she wants to make it work again, yet still thinks I should move out (I do too) but that means in doing so that we both have to buy new appliances to replace what each other are taking, which really angers me, as I have not had a holiday in over 2 years so we could save up to move over here to Australia together, she dumps me, I move out so now I have to waste my half of savings on new stuff, yet now she wants me again, but that doesn't stop it from happening?!?!

Anyway, rant over, its obviously a very long story that you all probably aren't interested in so I won't go into details, but I might have to make a new PSN ID, one that doesn't say nickandgem lol...

On the upside, I am going to have my own pad, and I'll be able to do cool stuff, like leave my gaming chair in front of the TV over night for once :smileyhappy:

Who knows, I might just forgive her and take her back one day, we have been together 7 years and have a son togther after all, but my new lease is for 6 months, so I guess that gives us some time :smileyfrustrated:

Re: Moving out

Aww man... that's no fun... especially after the relocating and stuff last year :smileysad:

I hope it works out for you regardless of how it pans out... just remember, it's a bit of a cliche, but it does get better over time.

Re: Moving out

I truley feel for you man seriously do. After 11 years and her having a heart attack and double bypass surgory, she kicked me out saying she appreciated the amount of care i gave her but it wasnt enough to carry on in our marriage.( her choice not mine)

Now im on my own and have custody of the children every second weekend and i can tell you its not easy. I loved having knowledge that when i went home my kids were there. Now they arent.

It happens and it hurts but ive remained optimistic and positive ( even though im very depressed about it) and will push through.

Yes it even happens to us Mods.
