Re: The Official Welcome Thread

Thanks for the warm welcome =)

@sbs - I'm loving Sydney, people are so friendly here and there's so much variety in places to go, food, entertainment etc. when compared to Perth.

@smokeypsd - If you're a fan of the genre, Disgaea is sure to please, I'd recommend starting with the first in the series and going through as there are quite a few recurring characters and references. =)

You just lost The Game.

Re: The Official Welcome Thread

Hi SonicHedgie, welcome to the forums. Not a huge amount of activity on here, but there's a strong little community going. Good to hear there's another Ninja Gaiden fan on here, I was a huge fan of the original, just about melted my Xbox with the amount I played that game! Unfortunately the first one on PS3 took away alot of the magic, I would like to get around to checking out the 2nd at some stage though...

Thanks all =) welcomes are appreciated

@Teabagnemesis  - I Though Ninja Gaiden Sigma added quite a lot of interesting content, as well as spicing up the visuals a little too (which is always good).   If you haven't played the sequel, you're really not missing out on much... I loved the game as it was challenging and punishing... Then there's Ninja Gaiden 2, which has regenerating health.  :smileysad:  There were a few nice new weapons etc, but overall just felt way too easy for a ninja gaiden game, perhaps taking a bit too much of an influence from God of War?

@tjohn323 - Sydney's great so far, Perth definitely has its downsides but, I'm not saying its all bad.  People on a whole just don't seem as friendly as they are here in Sydney though :smileytongue:

@gavsta72 - Mega drive, Master System and Super Nintendo did a better job of  raising me than my parents :smileytongue:
You just lost The Game.

Re: The Official Welcome Thread

Sigma wasn't all that bad, too many tweaks from the original though. I guess that started with the black/hurricane versions on xbox, so a watered down version was to be expected. I was quite good with the unlaboured flawless back in the day, there's nothing like getting down to the last bit of health, then owning a boss in 2 or 3 hits lol. I hated it when they gimped that weapon :smileysad: It says something about the quality of the game if they can get away with releasing so many different versions of it without adding any major updates to the overall game though. I'm keeping an eye on the third, might be time to get the 2nd...
