Bored? Looking for exciting new things to do in your city?
I've often seen ads at the bus stop for intriguing exhibitions and activities, but never seem to get there... work, socialising, and work, get in the way.
This year, I'm endeavouring to get out more.
These are some things going on in Sydney at the moment that might be worth checking out.
Feel free to post up exhibitions or shows near you that would be worth visiting.
Jurassic Lounge Main Site
Starts on Jan 31
This is at the Australian Museum on College Street in the city, after hours on Tuesdays.
Entry is around $15 and includes a drink as well.
They are coming up to their 3rd season, it started in Jan/Feb last year. Each season goes for 12 weeks.
You can view all their regular attractions, plus, after hours, they have a silent disco on the dinosaur floor, light shows, live music, art installations, talks from different specialists, documentaries and more.
Check the link above for more goodness.
Lego - Bricks On The Loose @ Sydney Harbour.
This started in December, for the school holidays, so I'm not sure how long it runs, but it'd be something great to take my nephew to.
Taronga Zoo is always fun, I'm thinking of heading there with the family next month.
The Wiggles @ The Powerhouse Museum in Sydney
The dates for this conflict, depending on where you look, but it should be going for at least a year, if not two.
Another one for the nieces and nephews - tickets are cheap as.

Not much going on here... got a mate in hospital in critical condition. He's got a fractured skull and lost his left eye in a home invasion.

Love Never Dies is on at the Capitol Theatre for a number of weeks still. Also Annie is on at the Lyric Theatre.
A bit of advice: don't waste your time going to Harry Potter The Exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum it's fairly short time walking around looking at little props from the films. That being said the rest of the Powerhouse can be great fun.
I should mention these events are on in Sydney.
