INTRODUCTION

Are you interested in socializing with Uncharted 3 players your age but haven't been able to "weed out" all the adolescent players? Have you been unable to join traditional, time-consuming clans because, being responsible adult, you have had to juggle your free time with going to college, taking care of children, or being employed in a full time job? In short, are you interested in an online experience akin to "shooting the bull" with a group of drinking buddies? If so, then Uncharted 3 Gunslingers is the right place for you!

MEMBERSHIP

We are fortunate to have over 2,800 adults registered on our homepage, and PSN Master Lists that are growing by the day.  Our clan formed originally for Naughty Dog's first venture into online gaming, Jak X, and we are excited to be part of their latest installment of Drake's adventures!
We have a large collection of parents. We have the large collection of college students. And we have the large collection of the working men (and women) members.

If you would like to join the club, you need only to fulfill two things:

That's it! We don't ask for resumes, kill/death ratios, probation periods, or any other sort of silliness. You just want to have fun, right? So do we! If you would like to learn more about membership with the Gunslingers, feel free to visit our "How To Join" page of at our website.

GUIDELINES

We like to ascribe the Gunslinger experience akin to having drinks with some buds after work or partying with them on the weekends. Nothing stops the music faster than a few knuckleheads, so we do have a few guidelines we expect people to follow during their stay:

• Pornographic and/or obscene material is prohibited.
• Self promotion by new members will likely be treated as spam. This includes promotion of own non-commercial websites.
• No personal attacks on other members or various sorts of offensive behavior is allowed.
• No glitching/hacking/cheating. We define such as purposefully accessing the game's programming or abusing a flaw in the programming to achieve an act or status that is not intended or possible otherwise.

CLAN FEATURES

The Gunslingers experience is as simple and non intrusive as joining up with other adults your own age and playing some Uncharted 3 at your convenience. For those of you who like to take part in activities, events, and communications beyond that simple formula, we offer several popular, optional features as well:

We know there are a lot of choices out there when it comes to clans.  Heck, there are even more groups exclusively for adults than there used to be.  One thing that you will notice as you take a look around is that many of them---even the ones claiming to also be casual---enforce a "probation period" when you first sign up.  You either have to sit on your hands and wait for your membership to be approved or you have wait to be "allowed" to wear their clan tags. 

But, what did you do wrong?  At the Gunslingers, there are no probation periods, and there are no other hurdles to jump that treat you as if you are presumed guilty before proved innocent.

Come join the Gunslingers, all fellow casual, mature gamers.  With GS, you are treated with the respect you deserve starting on day one of your membership.  Grab a brew.  Kick back.  Have fun.  It's that simple.

Friday is finally here, so that can only mean one thing at the Gunslingers...

FROSTY PINTS!!!

The weekend ritual is simple. Grab your favorite brew. Grab your headset. Swap those game contacts with your fellow Gunslingers. Party like it is 199-- well, I suppose that reference is a bit dated, but you get the idea.

Frosty Pints is a perfect time to get to know all your newest 'slingers who have signed up and remind yourself the innate advantage of being with a casual, mature clan exclusively with fellow adults.

The soundtrack to our party has been enriched thanks to the generosity of GS*DJ Souldier. House music---"Channel Surfin' (Dark Key Remix)" and "Spacial Perception"--- composed and performed by DJ Souldier have been added to the Gunslinger Gaming Jukebox! Holiday Greetings - Now that Black Friday has come and gone (anytime a shopper is trampled or pepper-sprayed an angel gets its wings), we are ready for the time honored tradition of getting our Christmas decorations up slightly too early. The Gunslingers is no exception. Throughout our clan's website, Holiday themed changes to graphics have been made. Check them out!

Dynamic Masterlists - We have had a lot of fantastic new members join up with the Gunslingers in recent months, so it occurred to me that a major enhancement to our Masterlists may be overlooked, which would be a shame for a couple reasons. For one, our Masterlists can by dynamically re-sorted by users. Second, we are presently the only Uncharted 3 clan with this forum function thanks to Toezer's hard work of pioneering the coding.
