The OMC is now recruiting mature gamers, 30+ from outside the US.
This isn't for everyone and We don't want everyone but if you think it's your BAG then the Non-US side have opened their recruiting for Winter 2011, it will close soon so you need to be quick - worth a look, have a read below:-
The OLD MAN CLAN was founded in 2005 by OMC-Dog, OMC-Blaze, OMC-Bangalor and OMC-Blue.
We are a fraternity of middle aged guys that like to play Call Of Duty and other online games for the PS3. In the US from coast to coast, Canada, South-America, Europe and the UK, we have over 130 members worldwide.
We do not play to compete or play against other clans. Our goal is to party, and provide refuge for gamers over 30. So if you are over 30 or over and would like to play with older and not so mature gamers
who call each other BROTHER and mean it, then we have a CLAN for you IF.......
We do have a 3 step process of joining
1) BOOT CAMP, you will play with our recruitment team and see if you fit for us and we fit for you.
2) PLEDGING.. You will go thru approx. 4-6 months of gaming with all OMC, trust me the ones who make it say they loved it.
3) GRADS... you may become OMC if you fit for us and we fit for you. This is the last step you take as a single person.
4) OMC-TRUE BROTHERS.. some you will never meet face to face but you will know them as good as your own Mother or Father.
Visit our website and join our forums, begin the best time you'll ever have on PS3, Welcome to all who apply and make it in. (Please be 30 to apply- hence The OLD MAN CLAN)

The OMC is a English speeking clan and will require the use of mics.
Welcome to the light - see you there, OMC-TRAMS (Euro Recruiting Team)

So what sort of games do you guys play? I`m assuming that you just don`t take anyone, so what sort of guys are in the clan? I mean, how serious is it all? I`m looking for a good laugh but at the same time maybe the occasional serious game where guys actually communicate what`s going on in a game, etc.
NOT those screaming kids and crappy music i hear!
Anyways, it all sound quite interesting OMC-TRAMS i`d be interested in hearing some more though.
Thanks in advance Canuk23

Hi Canuk23, thanks for asking,
We like to describe ourselves as a drinking clan with a gaming problem, other than Enjoying a few drinks with each other and having a laugh the OMC members are very individual people, each of us have our own likes and different tastes in music, film and games, In the OMC you will find members playing any game, we use COD games to meet up for our weekly pledge nights, but other than that we have members who play sport games , racing games, FPS or like myself, RPG and fighting games. the pledging process is a more serious affair because after all the OMC is about having a haven away from those screaming kids of which you spoke, so we can't just let anyone in, the pledge process is our way of weeding out the players who care too much about thier K/D ratio and can't take a joke. as for your serious games whe do also have members who understand that if your playing BF3 Rush, then killing people isn't the goal and will work as a team to take objectives. The OMC it a brotherhood and once your in, members will call you a brother a mean it, when members have been ill members have tavelled to hospitals to see them, at least once a year some members meet up for a meal and a drink and when members have passed on we have kept thier tourches burning in thier memories.
In short we are more than just a clan, we are family, which is why we are a little choosy but we will never turn a person away if he is willing to give us a go.
For more information have a look around our site www.omconline.net and i hope to see you pledging soon.

OMC-TRAMS,
Are you still recruiting in the US? Should I contact someone else? Your clan looks cool and sounds like what I've been looking for. What kind of games do you play? I like Call of Duty mostly, but am trying to get into Battlefield 3 too. Does your clan play those games as well as others?
Thanks!

Hi Zzyzx007,
the US is still recruiting i believe but they are getting close to thier intake so i would hurry if you want in, the Non US still have space for plenty more though for anyone else reading this ![]()
We do use Call of Duty for our recruitment as it allows for large squads and mic chat but other than Pledge night (saturday) you will find you can play any MP game with someone in our clan, Alot of members prefer Battlefield because its more tactical so your free to buddy up in the smaller squads but we also have members who play driving games and sports games and even rpg, i certainly have a copy of white knight cronicles kicking around so no matter what you play you'll find someone to play it with, its just a shame Skyrim is not a MP.
I hope this helps, i look forward to seeing you on our site

Hi World - I am a pledge in the OMC - have been for a couple of weeks now - this is a unique brotherhood - as is states this clan is not for everybody - but if you dont try you will never know - 30+ only is the general rule - as I say I am new to this clan and in the early stages of "initiation" but I have never had so much fun online gaming - what have you got to lose?
