Senior Gamers [SNR] is a new community that has just been launched - yesterday in fact!

I'm the co-founder, along with HaloJ and we were formerly members of another community but decided to set up our own place.

Senior Gamers is a community for Playstation gamers who are generally aged 25 years and above. We are interested in playing with like-minded individuals in a fun and friendly environment. For us, gaming skill and top scores are not important, mostly because we're not that good!

If you're not in a community and you're looking for a home then do check us out. If you're already in another community then you are also welcome to visit and join us as Allies (friends of the community).

Just to add that ALL games are supported, so you should find some players willing to join you for a game or three of your particular poison.

So next time you're being abused by some adolescents on Call Of Duty for being rubbish, or kicked from a server on Battlefield 3 for killing the server host too many times, or being treated to a full frontal on the Playstation Eye whilst playing Magic The Gathering, remember your old mates at www.seniorgamers.net. Our membership terms state that you should:

• be 25 years old or more*

*If you are aged 18 – 24 years old you can still apply. However, you will need to work a bit harder to demonstrate you are suitable for membership.

Most of our members are in their 30s and 40s. Are you sure we won't bore you to death?

We even have one member who is in his fifties. So matey,  you should ask yourself, would you really want to play with someone old enough to be your dad, or even grandad?

.......a flavour of life at the Seniors......

Had a great night with the girls of Hope clan the other night on Burnout Paradise. Really good fun, and some funny mug shots going around caught by our Playstation Eyes!!

The following week looks off to a good start.....

Monday sees us getting together for some Warhammer Space Marine action.

Tuesday we've a game of Uncharted 3 

Wednesday we're practicing together for our first Killzone 3 friendly with the Gaming Oldies the following week

And to top it all off, theres usually some of us to be found on Battlefield 3 every night.

Whether your a casual & infrequent gamer, or a die hard Sony fanboy who will never be found too far away from his Vita or PS3, you'll find a nice welcome awaits you at Senior Gamers. Dont be shy. Im 44 and Im not the eldest there!!

Yes Burnout was good fun, although I kept getting lost which made me sad. I need to get playing that game more, its awesome.
