I recently got a Turtle Beach Ear Force DPX21 headset with 5.1/7.1 Dolby Surround Sound, I have found them to be very good, but I haven’t tried out the microphone though.

mics very good and you can hear yourself speak as well so you don't end up shouting even tho you have the volume loud.

and you can hear if it needs moving away from your face so your not pervy breathing in everyones ears
