PS Vita?

I know it's still not out in the US yet, but how would developing for the vita work? Would all devices come with a developer mode (like android phones) or would we have to purchase dev units? Thanks.

Re: PS Vita?

[ Edited ]

Hi,

You can use a standard consumer PS Vita for writing your PS Suite applications (in the same way as PS Certified devices such at the Xperia Play and Arc).

DevKits are only required if you were to go via the "traditional C/C++ SDK development route"  (see http://research.scee.net)

Hope this helps !

Re: PS Vita?

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the reply!  It's good to know we'll be able to deploy on our retail Vita.  February can't come soon enough!  Thanks for the great development tool.  I am looking forward to its evolution and I hope this can spark the Vita as THE mobile platform for gaming!
