yea same here on the beta froze just as I got to the braniac but just by random i got past it (so excited yay) played for around 2 hrs great game never having played mmo befor. turnd off went to bed tried again in the morning CORRUPTED DATA reinstall the whole bloddy thing again. i dont want to return the game i like and it seems to be getting so much ***** they will hopefuly have to fix the prob soon heres hopping. even the tech guy are saying there getting so many calls.

i really enjoyed the hr i got to play this game it great, iv never played an mmo befor. but i do think with all the flak there getting about the game im pretty sure they will fix the prob. iv been on alot of orums and they all say the same thing.

yea i keep checking gamespot but nothing at all. i geuss i should have gotten the hint when they havnt even done a video review.

Relax , the game just came out a couple weeks ago. Give it time, they will eventually fix all the bugs, and they are giving people an extra month free. It's also an MMO on a console, i expected there to be a number of problems for at least a few months, everyone wants a perfect game right off the bat. be patient, give it time, do something else in the meantime. Or you can make your own game.

I am also having the same issue! I took 2 days off work and used up all my downloads for the month just re - installing it 3 times!

Sony usually realeses quility products, but this is just *****.

are they going to give us a new free game card for our trail that is being wasted?

There is a Patch comming today its on the DC Forums, this will address the freezing in the tutorial issue but said nothing about those of us who freeze everywhere so here's hoping

The EU servers will be locked at 12:30 CET and brought offline at 01:00 CET for server maintenance.  Downtime is anticipated to be one hour and the servers should be available at 02:00 CET. 

• General: Addressed an issue that caused some PS3 players to hang or disconnect in the tutorial.

So later today we'll be getting the fix. I looked up the time differences and if its 12:30 CET (presuming it's PM) then its 10:30pm here, so the patch won't be done till 11pm. Im pretty sure thats right but don't hold me to it. 

P.S there were a stack of other things in the update, but i think this is what most people want to here.

Same problem happening with me.  Not happy.  I can make characters fine but when I enter the actual game, it freezes within 1-2 minutes WITHOUT fail.  I can't even kill the 5/5 guards for the first mission.  I've tried 5 times (4 on 21-1-11 and 1 on 22-1-11) with the exact same results.  How on earth can they release a game that people can't even play?  I understand that there will be bugs with any new MMO and I accept that.  However, bugs that affect gameplay are one thing.  Bugs that completley inhibit gameplay are quite another.  If the rumour that they're giving everyone a month free is true then I'll give them more leeway as it shows they're trying to do the right thing.  If it's not, however, this sucker is gettin' returned so fast I'll barely remember even owning it.

Get on the ball, Sony.  This is an extremely bad first impression for what were previously loyal customers of Sony and fans of DC.

Oh yeah, and by the way, why the F#$@ can't I choose to play on an international server?  I have a family member in the UK and a couple of friends in the U.S.  Apparently we can't play together despite everyone having high speed broadband?  Come on Sony...
