Hello!

It's been 7 days now and I have been getting the SAME message.

Whenever I try to patch the 244MB file, it gets to 20% and then just reset to 0% for 3 times and then I get the message "The game is unavailable for maintenance".

I thought it was an ISP problem but my friend downloaded the patch with NO problem. I gave him the PS3 and told him to do the update for me but even then it still happens to him (so it's not an ISP or a network problem).

My only guess is it's the PS3, I have a EU 60GB PS3 while he has a slim (I think a JPN one, it was cheaper).

There is only 1 ISP where I live so the chance of it being an ISP problem is zero.

Any idea what I can do? I deleted and re-installed the game 9 freaking times but no luck.

Ok, one of the solutions I got from someone was to try and use a VPN to see if the patch will download or not.

I just tried and it didn't work =/ the very same thing happened. Patch gets to 19% and suddenly restarts (no message until the third time which gives me "The game is unavailable for maintenance" message).

I am going nuts here =/

Ok I asked my friend who downloaded the patch successfully before to delete the game and try to download it again, just to see what will happen.

He gets the same message now =/

"The game is unavailable for maintenance, please try in few minutes."

Okay, I am trying to download the WHOLE 3gb patch again using VPN. Not just the part that I couldn't download (the 244MB part).

Will take time but I hope it works.

something u could try would be to take your ps3 to your mates house and see if its the internet connection......see if he can download it

Same problem with you boys, 244 MB patch stops at 19% and resets, three times before the inevitable "the game is unavailable...try again in a few minutes."

Did any of you manage to figure out what was wrong?

What do you mean by IPN and VPN?

I just bought a new PS3 just for this game as i had a japanese NTSC before, going nuts here mate.

Does the NAT have anything to do with it? if so how can i access it?
