Even though the merged the servers - it's still like a ghost town..

I am big fan of this game but stopped playing because it was becoming a "unsociable" game.

So..just before the merge i subbed for another month to see what has changed, some better menus, the chat system is way better and also some good duos.. but it's not enough is it?

The game is supposed to be a MASSIVE multplayer online game.. i can count the number of people i see on 2 hands.

Before it used to be packed with people outside clubs and pvp wars going on at midtown and various people around to fight or help... but now you get small numbers doing nothing.

I spent nearly all day on it in the week and i think i probably saw about 8 shouts all day.

Its retarded.

So they bring out green lantern dlc, you'll get a few people using the power, so all it will be is green lantern spam, then the novelty will wear off.

You've got people all in the best gear at this point and they just stand around hall of doom/watchtower - i'm a level 30 healer with the best gear and nothing to do lol.. it's so lame.

No-one understands roles, so even if you spend 2 hours trying to get raid members etc, you inspect them to see they have green armour, basic weapons and have no idea what role they should be playing

I joined a raid after about an hour of organising, 4 tanks..1 healer and controller.... 4 tanks that couldn't stand damage of more than 1000? - that's not a tank... i can tank that and i'm a healer lol...so you end up healing them to much and then run out of power and can't help at all.

I've rolled a new char too, you can't get any raids going at lower level, if you do they are half beaten and everyone has left.

Pvp boring, they just don't know how to win.

You can't tag along with people like you could before, because no-one is here.

I can't see this game lasting much longer... compared to release and now, the game is virtually dead.

Sorry but since the megasevers the place has been busier so i don't know what your dribbling on about.

yeah it has been busier, but it's not great is it.

Compared to the earlier days it's like a zombie plague wiped out the community in it.

8 shouts all day? that ain't busy dude...the only thing that dribbles is SOE wallet because they sure ain't got many subs.

I recomend if your playing a hero roll pve using the phase shifter in the watchtower, if your rolling a villan then play pvp thats were the majority of people are.

Im of the same opinion this game has so much potential, but its like a ghost town in there!! I posted another thread on the forums "Is there anybody out there!" and had one responce in 2 months!

Ive since stopped flogging a dead horse and moved onto something else.

Yeah I'm new to this game, I kept meaning to get it when it was released. When I got it I thought wait...where is everyone. Don't get me wrong some days I see more players the next day I'll be lucky to see more than 10. I usually see french/german players not many english players lol. I really wanted to roll a character with someone and enjoy it since I can't play it with my 3 american friends (seperate server = sucks) so I play it out solo. I've had 1 PvP instance within 2 weeks of playing and they guy dropped in 1 weapon of destiny + pulse beam..so the feeling soon left. I'm really enjoying the game, I'd pay and play it like mad but it's supposed to be an mmo with hundreds of players and such. Not a ghost town 1 player game, that's how it feels to me.

EUPVP server is mostly on medium and last night was pop high, so i think you'll find that DLC and the change to free to play options will bring players in and back.

Yeah most deffo, free to play is good for everyone involved, i am glad because i think it will save the game to a certain extent.

I will be playing when it goes free, I also have friends that just dont understand why an MMO has a subscription. When it goes free they will be playing too now that they arent scared off by a monthly fee.
