Re: Welcome to the DC Universe Online forum!

Wow, a month on hold with no solution?
That is a fail.
I hope they find one soon.
Arfiman, it was mentioned in this thread before about how the internet you are using, could be blocking the downloading of that patch. I have etisalat and this guy says that etisalat blocks the site from which it downloads the patches from. But im not sure so :smileyfrustrated:

Re: Welcome to the DC Universe Online forum!

No nothing - and I can't even log into check whether the situation has changed because my 30 day free trial has expired as well! So I asked Sony CS if they could give me another 30 day trial to check if there are any changes and they told me they'd get back to me - and guess what?! Still nothing - absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced and that too from the likes of Sony - shocking! They will not be getting anymore of my money, that is for sure...

Re: Welcome to the DC Universe Online forum!

It's June 14th .. I bought this game two days ago and I'm also having the same problem. Now this game destroyed my gaming schedule. I haven't played any game for two days and I do not know what to play next since I was planning to play DCUO but sadly that error just doesn't wanna go away.

It's just ridiculous when you pay for something and you do not get everything out of it. What's even worse that the official staffs can't help you. They could just made an alternate way to download the updates.

Anyway, does anyone have a solution?

Re: Welcome to the DC Universe Online forum!

So even after the PSN server downtime or whatever you call it.
The game still did not install?
They should really set up an alternate like what spec has mentioned.
There are lot more people with the same problem, sony or anyone should do summin about it if they dont want to start losing costumers..

Re : Welcome to the DC Universe Online forum!

Hey guys, I'm new to all of this, so please bare with me. I just downloaded the free-to-play version of DC Universe. It appears I have stumbled onto a problem. Many of you seem unable to connect, while I can't seem to connect myself to the server because apparently I need to free up 5097 MB. Honestly, I would rather get the same error message as everyone else, but unfortunately, I get a different problem that no one else seems to have. The error code appears to be 1030 and if it's any help, I have the classic 60G Playstation. At first, I had to free up around 20000 MB, but I managed to reduce it to 5097, I have run out of stuff to delete (If that even is the solution) and now I am running out of option and looking for my dear Playstation friends to lend me a little helping hand. I know this won't get me in the server (with the downtime and all) but at least it would get me set and ready to go as soon as it's back on. Hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks!

Re : Welcome to the DC Universe Online forum!

Bely_619, I would upgrade to a bigger hard drive for your Ps3 if I was you. Once you download it you got updates & patches as well, you really need a good load of spare space for these things. I upgraded my 80gb ps3 with a 640gb hard drive.
