Has anyone else had problems where your actions are delayed?  Button presses are followed by pauses before the action happens, without my character being in unusual circumstances.  It's getting me killed quite a lot.

Might be my controller, but it's never been a problem on other games.

Once or twice in my 43 hours so far but nothing of note, never got me killed yet! although I have died many times!

Leave him alone just now and come back when you are a bit stronger or have a harder hitting weapon.

If you want to take him now, make sure your shiled blocks 100% physical damage, and keep it up at all times, circle him and roll and do your best to get a good backstab on him.

Cheers! I've spent ages levelling up and just got the 'Flying Dragon Sword' so I might go back and fight the Black Knight.

He will be easier now, just be cautious and you will be fine as he hits hard, but 3 back stabs will kill him probably!

You've had the game for a while now, what character have you gone?

I am a warrior level 59 now.

I have put most of my points into Strength/Endurance and then vitality, enough dexterity to use a certain weapon and enough attunement to get to use my one pyro spell!

Works good so far the sword I have scales with strength so it hits like a truck, quite enjoy playing the heavy armor heavy hitting class. I have a bow for pulling things from distance too.

Here's how I deal with Black Knights: Hold your drake sword in both hands. With the heavy attack you slam the sword into the ground releasing a shockwave in front which will knock off 110 points without the sword touching him. Wait for the knight to swing, roll back and heavy attack. Keep backing away up the stairs around the corner and up the next stairs, rolling and striking when he swings 'til dead. Simple. It ruins the blade though so have a repair stone handy. The merchant sells them.

Yes - sometimes attacks don't execute when I press the button, then will execute some random time shortly after. Not good when timing is key. I've noticed it rarely with my long sword strong attack, and yesterday I fired a fireball, nothing happened so I blocked the incoming attack, and after I released block, the fireball launched...
