I think your Flamelurker idea is a good one, although if you follow the plan I mentioned above, he's easy enough to beat on NG+ (I was wrong in my previous post, I've done 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2 and 2-3).

Just be aware that some of the spells you mention take 3 spell slots (Firestorm for sure), so get your magic slots up too.

Yep, I have 3 magic slots already.  I just beat Flamelurker and Dragon God when I last played.  I have 1-4, 3-2, 3-3 and all world 5 left to do.  Which shouldn't take me long because I've done all but 1-4 in a previous game, so I know what to do.

Taking me ages to get chunks of Greystone at the moment.  The bloody worms don't drop it much, they mostly drop shards of it which I always get a hundred of pretty quickly.

1-4 is pretty tough, good luck. You'll need a lot of arrows! Am dreading world 5 on NG+, found it hard enough the first time around - the big enemies are really tough.

Greystone is a tough one, to be honest I'm useless at getting most of the different ores. What's your luck level?

I got all the greystone I need now.  My luck is 16, I invested a bit into it.  Also finished 5-1, Leechmonger was easier than I realised.  When I did him before I had a friend with me who used firestorm because he was regenerating quicker than arrows would kill him.  But this time I just ran up and gave him a dragon sword to the nuts.  He died in no time.

Only five levels left, four of them I've done before.  Plus the end boss and some working of WT to get events.

Where did you get the greystone from? My luck is still only 15, and I've just put it up from 12, so was (and is still) way too low by the sounds of it. The level 5 bosses are all pretty easy, the levels are tough though. Just got 5-2 and 5-3 left for my NG+, I really hate those big guys in level 5.

The end boss is ridiculously easy, unfortunately. I've still not done any WT altering either - any recommended events you've done?

Best place for getting greystone is the rockworms in 2-3. They drop splinters and chunks. Took me ages getting the chunks of greystone I needed even with the large sword of searching equipped.

- Yes, that's what I found but I didn't have the Large Sword of Searching.  But it's quick to spawn at the Flamelurker archstone and backtrack.  There are three rockworms to the right of the tunnel and three more at the end of the tunnel (the one that leads to the bottom of the area where you drop from ledge to ledge).  So that's six rockworms in 2-3 mins, and repeat.

Changing World Tendency can be done by beating bosses or black phantom invaders (to make it whiter).  Or dying while in body form to make it blacker.  It's harder to make it whiter so be careful about risking being in body form in a world you want to keep white, in case you die.

Also if you kill an NPC you make it significantly blacker, (usually, it depends if the character is good or bad) whereas killing a black phantom NPC or a Primeval Demon will make it significantly whiter.  One thing to watch is if you want to get more than one thing done during pure white or black tendency you mustn't leave the world after doing only one thing, because that will cause the world tendency to update (which it only does when you leave the world).  For example, you've made world 2 pure black tendency.  This means you can encounter Black Phantom Scirvir and kill the Primeval Demon.  However, they are spread apart and you'll have to travel through the levels to get from one to the other because if you return to the Nexus the death of either one will have made the tendency whiter, and you'll be required to work it back down again before the other encounter is possible.  Always save Primeval Demons to last because they're easy kills, make sure you've beaten the tougher target first.

I have another question for the NG+ players.

Do you have access to your Blue Eye stone at the start of 1-1 in NG+?

I'm going to need to do some co-op to get my Character Tendency up so I can get the Friend Ring from the Monumental.  It's getting harder to co-op now my level is up in the 80s.

Not sure, sorry. I may be able to check later, am about to go into NG++++ !

The Friend Ring is the only ring left that I need to get too, is going to be a struggle, will take me at least another playthrough - will have to kill all the named Black Phantoms.
