Eace archestone in the Nexus is given a number (when referring to the levels on various forums), starting with Bolterian Palace which is number one. The numbering goes clockwise so Stonefang Tunnels archestone is 2, Tower of Latria Archestone is 3, Storm King's one is 4 and The Valley of Defilement is 5. That is the first number. The second number after the hyphen is the world/starting point. So the first level in the game is 1-1, The Bolterian Palace Nexus archestone and the very first area in the archestone. 1 - 2 is The Bolterian Palace Nexus archestone and the Phalanx spawn area. The guide that comes with the game explains this better than I did so check it out.

I tried that and only get about 800 a run, maybe your WTPB? Or my WTPW?

I have found a way similar to MB's.
Spawn at the 1-3 Archstone and go back to the Ante chamber with the Blue Eye Knights. Place a Blue Eye stone on the ground and wait to be summoned by someone trying to kill the Tower Knight. When you get summoned kill the Tower Knight to get around 4000 Souls. Rinse and repeat.
Done it about 3 time now and I have more souls than I need
