Please understand that I know the Free Comics section includes many past and recent Free Comic Book Day items, but based on replies to customers such as #5 in the link below, more could be done to keep the comic book industry and this story financially healthy.
Such as having nearly every comic book every given out as a Free Comic for free comic book day or an abridged version of it, along with the first 3 to 5 issues of the related comic for sale. At present the comic selection is greatm, but not many may pay attention to the application on their PSP because the desire to buy a digital comic has not yet caught on.
Well guess what? Even though not many americans purchase comics every year, they come in droves for free comic book day and that one day event creates a spike in awareness and sales in the ensuing months. With a Free Comic Book Day section within the Free Comics section of the store, the Free Comic Book Day yearly(yes, they do advertise & promote through the year) could be leveraged to drive public awareness to the myriad of title selections and genre that are available for free or for preview on the PSP. I won't declare such a move will be a system seller, but it will definitely help those parents who take their kids and those young adults who check it out every year, consider getting a PSP over the more popular DS brands.
Sorry for the long winded comment, but I feel passionately that offering & promoting Free Comic Book Day comics and its store (not because they are free--but that does help) will help to drive more awareness to this area of the PSP than any weekly blogs or blurbs could with the general public.
One other thing - Please add more comics with audio or other extras to the comics store. Also, please consider giving them their own section of the store along with more bundles for these items. I was pleasant surprised how unique an experince the PSP can provide when reading a comic but also hearing creator's commentary.

One other thing.
Without the free Zuda comics in the Free Comics section, I would have never known about that great brand from Wildstorm. And then have gone into my local comics shop a few months later and purchased the first three volumes they had available for print(High Moon, Night Owls, and Bayou). That's $60 to a local comic book retailer, that would have never happened without the PSP and the free comics in their Digital Comics store.
You guys should be proud and pass that feedback back to the content providers to provide more free comics and previews(such as Superman & Wonder Woman #600), as I had since done the same thing for over 10 more individual books & series that I first expereinced on the PSP. And this is comic from a newly re-christianed comic book fanboy who used to read Wizard every month.
Comic book store owners need not be afraid of what you are doing, and should be embracing/promoting you guys more. Have you ever considered that option actually? In-store promotions of the PSP and its Digital Comics Store.

As much as I love free comics, i don't want to see them as much (unless they get those free comic book days items like the prologue to The Blackest Night series, or something like that). I prefer to buy them and support the ones going digital (while i know and am glad they are still doing print). So hopefully more people would see the benefits of making a digital store and bringing more comics to the ps store. Now we are talking both sides of the fence, you like your printed, and liked the freebies so that you can get a free taste of something new to go buy printed, but I love digital and free comics wouldn't really benefit me, cause it'd be just issue ones, or something like that. So again i hope the only free comics that really get a push are those given out in comic book stores on free comic day.
