From the mind (and pen!) of the infamous Tony Lee (Harker, Hope Falls, X-Men, Dr Who, etc) comes the adventure that started things off - Midnight Kiss!

With art from the now Marvel-exclusive artist Ryan Stegman, Midnight Kiss is a spectacular multi-faceted tale starring some of the most familiar characters in literary history. To sum it up:

The universe is shattered Multi-verses, with every dream a different world. And through those worlds walk Matt Sable and Nightmare De'Lacy, saving a human boy from a great evil. But is he normal - or the last of a breed? And how are they connected to the Land of Oz - and Jerry Cornelius? Believe in Faeries - before they kill you.

It is a five-issue series that will not disappoint!

I read the description for Midnight Kiss and bought it straight away from that, but I did not notice it was from Tony Lee If I had of noticed that first it would of sold me on it without anything else. Looking forward to reading this one

I really enjoyed the story in Hope Falls, so Midnight Kiss is pretty much a no brainer for me. Just waiting for the update on Media Go here.

I just bought this...and I dunno what sold me first... "how are they connected to the land of oz" or "believe in faeries before they kill you" lol but I had to read it to find out! lol

I picked up Midnight's Kiss. Love the art, love the reimaging of vampires, and such. The art is beautiful, and the story is...well reminds me of a mix between Wizard of Oz meets Fables (at least so far). Since Eleventh Hour is on the back burner, this may be the series that takes it place. (The green guns are cool by the way, where can I pick me up some? lol). I'll be reading future issues of this. Dang you guys are too good, sold me on another series!

I'll quickly sum-up. It wasn't bad, but IMO it wasn't great. Art is fantastic. I like the dialog. It's well thought out. Call me a GRUMP, but I just don't like faeries. However, faeries that kill - Well...  it's intriguing enough for me to continue reading it (and give it another chance). So I am looking forward to the next issue.

Trust me guys and gals, Midnight Kiss is much more than just faeries. You will see some amazing and recognisable characters - albeit somewhat different than you have ever seen them before!

The pace picks up significantly and is fast-paced throughout, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed.

I've only read the first issue so far, though issue two is in my backlog on my PSP, but I can say I really enjoyed the first issue. The art really is beautiful, and the story seems very cool to me. It reminds me a bit of like Buffy and Angel.

I'm really enjoying it so far. I like the way it's pulling in lots of different types of myths etc. to make up the world it's based in, it's giving it that bit of extra depth that can be lacking from some comics.
