i did say that it may not have been the preitiest...but seeing that car being chasing down Rene Arnoux in the French GP at Dijion was stunning! shame it was only for second place!

That Ferrari. OMFG! What a driver Gilles was. Its such a shame he died. He would of been triple world champ in my book. The way he giuded that car to 2 wins that year (in a car that had a QUARTER of the downforce of the Championship Winning Williams) was simply heroic. Hes my tracing hero.

He dam was! i read a story somewhere, i think the year ws 1980, at a wet Watkins Glen. He was 12 seconds faster than the next guy. He was the only one who was pushing. The only one with the courage to push. The only one with the feel to race as hard as that in such tricky conditions.

It would of been awesome to see how he would of staked up with Prost, Senna, Mansell, Lauda and the rest of the top 80's drivers....
