Re: DiRTY Sundays - DiRT3 Fun Night

Hello DiRTY racers

Just a heads up really that the event will be on again next week at the same time of 8pm.

I also want to explain the rules for a variation on Invasion that we attempted last night (albeit with lots of confusion as to who was on what team and the objective of it all).

chimeran invasion.jpg

(no points for spotting the edit)

Chimeran Invasion

2 Teams (The Chimera and The Resistance) battle over 2 rounds

Resistance score points by destroying the cardboard aliens that pop up (ending with a positive score)

Chimera score points by destroying the cardboard buildings that pop up (ending with a negative score)

Teams switch for round 2 so Resistance becomes Chimera and vice versa.

Final scores are calculated by ignoring the sign in front of scores (e.g. -12 would become 12) and adding up both rounds. Highest scoring team wins! Obviously you can try to prevent the other team from scoring points using any means necessary (within the game, lets keep this friendly!!)

Hopefully this makes more sense than it did yesterday, and we can try it out next week. Also, if anyone else has any ideas for game variations please let me know :smileyhappy:

See y'all Sunday

Is there a chance of a time change?

Re: DiRTY Sundays - DiRT3 Fun Night

We can change it to 9 next week, if most people watch Top Gear. It was empty tonight so I'm guessing a time change is a good idea :smileytongue:
