Re: F1 Game preview.

Yea you do? If you have a serious crash in Dirt 2 or Grid you are forced to use the rewind function.

Re: F1 Game preview.

Sounds quite good.

Seriously though, rewind?! If you crash in F1 that should be the end of your race.

Re: F1 Game preview.

What?! You aren't ever forced to rewind in DiRT 2 or GRID. If you total your car you get taken to the rewind screen, but all you have to do is hit start and you can either retire or restart.

Re: F1 Game preview.

i would of assumed that the rewind function may be something akin to that of the one in motogp 09 10, which you can use the rewind function but you'll take a reputation hit which means less money from sponsors which makes building a team very difficult so you could gain more reputation from coming second and using no rewind than finishing first but using rewind.

I would assume this as they've been banging on about the career mode for this for a while no and how in-depth it is with sponsors and team building a big part of it ....but thats just an assumption

i doubt it will be as good the one made by Sony.

Is that one any good? I still have it shrink-wrapped from when I purchased my 60gb.

Correction. Looking RUBBISH tbh.

Why Codemasters....Why oh WHy use the same filter effect as Dirt and grid?!

It looks like they're racing through a bloody sandstorm!

One of the parts to get right about F1, is the colours of the cars too. As well as the track. It completes the feeling of the game.

Sony got it spot on with the last effort. F1 Is Bold and in your face. So are the cars.

I really won't  believe that Codemasters are making this game realistic, until I've played it.

Don't get me wrong. I've loved the codemasters driving games. But I'm a big fan of F1, and Motogp. Two top flight motorsports, And both are sports that games have only rarely got it just right for me, as I like them to be more like a sim when on hardest difficulty.

And the quote said that it''s realistic, like the red bull that is always ready to spin out of control.

?? They have the most stable car out there!? Last year, and this year. :smileyvery-happy:

Wet weather is looking good, but just GET RID OF THE DUST STORM PLEASE CODES!!!

what a load of crap !!!!

look at games Codemasters have already released like Grid, Dirt and Dirt 2 they are all multiplatform and graphically stunning. each game has proved to be graphically awesome even if they do use some special effects and filters.

the other thing is that F1 2010 will probably look better on the xbox 360 due to the extra AA and AF that codies can somehow implament on the 360.

sure F1 CE looked good but it never pushed what the PSP could do i mean for the most it was nothing more than a high resolution version of F1 06 on the PS2 this includes th game engine.
