If I remember correctly, the game will walk you through the initial steps. You start at your birthday party which turns out to be a dream. You will then be guided to the driving school to attain your first licence (C4), once you have this; it’s off to buy your first car which I suggest should be the Lancia Delta. You will be taken to your first home, a grotty caravan and guided to the first championship (C4)...
That should suffice for now.

Don't really play TDU2 much now as I completed most of it by last May and recently revisited it to complete all of the new Exploration Pack (DLC1) challenges. If they do release DLC2 which is rumoured to contain motorbikes, I will of course return to it. I do also intend one day to attempt the lap of Hawaii multiplayer event but currently playing other games such as GT5, Forza 4 & NFS The Run.
I assume by now that you have got your copy & have started playing it so, what are your initial thoughts? Are you enjoying and finding it challenging?
