Black Bean’s upped a first proper look at WRC3 gameplay, giving a long look at the incoming rally title’s Spanish course.

There’s no HUD in it at all, so we could be in for a treat come October 12. The game’s releasing for PS3, PC, 360 and, thankfully, Vita. Looking hot. Check it out.

I must say its looking mighty fine with the new graphics engine, lets just hope Black Bean can finally put that official licence to use because so far the games have been disappointing, budget feeling rubbish. 

How hard can it be to make a great feeling and looking rally game?

Come on please, third time lucky and give this older gamer what consoles have ben missing for however many years..

Hmm..? Read a few comments on the wrc3 vid with out actually watching until now. And to be completely honest I couldn't see much of this graphical leap some of them were talking about..?
PLEASE GIVE US A CAR SEAT VIEW TO JUDGE...

The couple of times I tried 1 I couldn't get over the cars pivoting on a central point, no matter which view.
2 on the otherhand I picked up cheap in the 'game crash' and was really enjoying playing it from the in car view. Untill other games took my attentionaway. Might try n give wrc2 more time soon...
But so far wrc3 looks like a wait till a price drop, for me so far...

@talllpaul's sense of speed,
again thats why i'd like to see a seating view. Maybe it might translate better..?
I still need to try shift2, the sense of driver speed and braking on S1 felt great the first time I played. Dont know why I got rid of it actually.

Graphics look good, as does that course Assume no HUD is due to early days or a setting. Hopefully see a navigator shouting the course out (2 left, 4 right etc) in final game. Daft if not!

Talking of co-drivers.
I never did manage to get mine to read at a middle pace for me, in wrc2. Cant remember which way round it was, but set it too early and it would scream at every jut in your path or slight turn, set it on time and it wouldn't tell me about the hair-pin coming up.. But that might be more down to the miss timing of the cogs in my brain.. ;-)

I do need to jump back on it, some of those very tight sandy roads with the raised sides dropping off, were TOUGH!
