Best time to buy PS3?

Hi all,

 

I'm Going to buy a PS3 someday, but I don't know when. A few people have been telling me to wait till slim comes out then the fat ones will be cheaper howver I dont know how long that'll be. So the question is, get one now? Or wait a few months near christmas time?

The rumours are that there will be a price cut in August.
