For games, sonys motion control stuff is much more practical. For general purpose stuff, Natal seems better.

Don't want to be pretending to be fighting an image on screen or driving a car without anything in my hand, or infact shooting a gun without anything in my hand.

Games need buttons.

This or be able to control games without your mind alone :smileytongue:

Re: Sony's Motion Controller or Microsoft's Project Natal???

Technically Natal seems better, IF its as interactive as they made out. Can it really recognise what Im asking it and respond? Or is it only set questions Milo can answer like "How are you?" etc. Can I ask "Why do you have a stupid hair cut?" or "If I push you in the pond can you swim?" and have Milo answer me accurately? What would happen if I said I was seeing his girlfrind behind his back?

As for gaming purposes though I think Sony's motion control has lots of possibilities. The one to one control was exceptional, even at high speed. Now if they put an analogue stick and a couple of buttons on the wand it could be used for almost anything.

Microsoft deserve kudos for trying something new, but I just doubt it'll have any relevance to traditional gaming. Novel gimmick to show off to friends, yes. Taking gaming forward? I doubt it.

I just can't see the appeal in waving your limbs about like an epileptic camel.

yeah but for some reason casual gamers are too retarded to see why that would be a waste of time.
