E3 General Discussion

Even if they are planning a next years release date, I still feel E3 would of been the best possible time to shed some information or gameplay on the new GTA. Whether or not it's 25%, 50% or 90% finished they could of anticipated the game because if there going back to San Andreas roots, than its a big deal for many of us fans.

Rockstar don't normally E3 it do they?

I can see them not wanting to go if they feel they are not ready to show more of the game at its current state but yes E3 is a big PR tool for companies even though just the name GTA sells itself.

Expect more at the TGS i think it to early for anything just yet

Rockstar also don't spill on their games... well GTA... (they did show admitadly quite a bit of Max Payne 3)

GTA is usually Announcement Teaser Trailer, followed by Trailer 1 and then Trailer 2....

I wouldn't expect anything regarding GTA 5 at TGS or GDC. They usually do their own press release sometime after E3.

Rockstar hold their own event nearer the end of the year if they have something to show and tell, so any news will be revealed then. They have never shown anything at the likes of E3 as far as I'm aware.

If its not ready to be shown yet, then it's not ready to be shown yet.

I'd much rather games wasn't announced so early before they even hit shelf's..

Take Agent for instant. Sony announced that way back in 2007, we don't know if its this gen, or next, PlayStation exclusive still or if its been canned or not! All we've had are a few measly leaked images. They should of remained quiet until they had something concrete to tell us and show us.

And The Last Guardian

What happened to The Agency? Was it scrapped in the end?

The Last Guardian is having technical difficulties and even Sony Santa Monica as well as a British studio (London for a guess) are helping out on it.

Yeah The Agency was scrapped last year after SOE's Seattle studio closed down.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a unannounced trailer pop up in on of these summer blockbuster movies.
