Nintendo E3 Conference - Discussion Thread

[ Edited ]

Only 5 minutes to go, and I can't see a thread.

Normally a less popular conference, but there might be some interesting news... (aka details about the WiiU).

Re: Nintendo E3 Conference - Discussion Thread

Yeah... guess it isn't that popular...

The WiiU doesn't look that great to me. Doesn't seem much different to the Wii, apart from the controller (speaking of controllers, won't there be too many to handle, with the main controller, the pad, the motion controllers and nunchucks).

Seems more like a Wii upgrade, than a new console.

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

PMSL !! i thought the same thing. The Zombie game looks to hard to play using the Wii U Gamepad? To many things to do at any one time? Nintendo had no new IP's either.

Re: Nintendo E3 Conference - Discussion Thread

nintendo wii u just starting to be a bit silly now not really a contender for a serious gamer anymore shame since nintendo used to be the go to console experience back in the snes and 64 days.

Re: Nintendo E3 Conference - Discussion Thread

I didn't grow up playing Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong etc. and whilst I can see that they do look great games I've never once* been inclined to go out and buy a Nintendo console. Don't know what it is but it just doesn't appeal to me. That press conference eliminated any little interest that I did have in the WiiU.

*I did once have a Gameboy Colour. But I only ever played Pokemon on it.

Re: Nintendo E3 Conference - Discussion Thread

Have to say i had a Wii but frankly i hated its controller so i've pretty much missed out on thier games this gen round all being well though with the new console that shouldnt be an issue with it having "proper" control pad.
