Re: Sony E3 Press Conference - Discussion Thread 2am

I was very impressed by Sonys conference. I want all the games they have shown with the exception of the Vita titles (cos I don't have one :smileysad: ). My wife even wants Wonderbook for the kids.

Blown away by The Last Of Us, it looks amazing!!

Re: Sony E3 Press Conference - Discussion Thread 2am

That conference was cringe worthy and the attempt of a presentation by the people doing that spellbook crap was laughable. I really couldnt believe they put 30+ year olds to try and look like they where enjouing that game cause it looked awful! You breathe "5 points to your house!" you fart "5 points to your house". You unleash a dragon and you still score! It was funny when the woman couldnt wave the wand correctly. Jaha! It made it all awkward as we sat there waiting for this older woman to figure it out. 2 minutes later and we got tyere. Just to emphasis how crap it was.

And that all star fighting game was just a rip off from Super Smash bros.

Still it wasnt as bad as Microsoft's who demonstrated the most pointless app ever. Who the hell thinks "Oooo kings landing is safe from attack, now where's John Snow?! Lmao!

"I'm really into this film I'm watching! So much so I'm going to stop watching the film to look at my tablet and see who played the second bartender in the background and then see how many more exciting minutes I have left of this film!"

Travelling home from work? I know! I'll watch a film! I'm driving a car on a busy street, but no problem because. When I get home I can watch it on the big scr....*CRAAAAAASH*".

It wasn't bad, a lot better then Microsofts.

Too many 3rd party games and not enough exclusive though! Its Sony's show so put your games on the table not multiplatform games :Shame:

The last of US demo was as I expected. Looks good and very brutal.

God of War was as expected. Though I'm confused as to why he still wears those blades/chains if its a prequel

Beyond is no good to me as CGI. Give me gameplay footage, Although as with as above I guess I just need to sprinkle a bit of Heavy rain over it and it will be nearly there.

Re: Sony E3 Press Conference - Discussion Thread 2am

Seems to me like they are bringing out a final bunch of good games for the PS3 (Last Of Us, God of War, Battle Royale etc) before moving on to.... Whatever their next console is going to be.

I still love the vita, just wish there were more games out / coming out. But I am happy to see some exclusives for it are in fact in existence, Ubisoft making an entirely new AC game for it is what I like to hear, and cross gaming was shown with Battle Royale which is awesome (though not so great if you have to buy the same game twice) so it looks like it will sooner or later be used again =)

Happy with the press conference, it was pretty solid, no megatons to be seen, but what was there was impressive and make me glad to be a primarily PlayStation gamer. That said, cant wait to see what Nintendo are going to do!

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

Cant you tell this is a Playstation forum as in no way was Sonys effort any better than ms's as both conference was absolute rubbish with only a couple of games exclusive to each system of any interest.

It has been a really poor e3 with only Ubisoft with any sort of saving grace, they easily uptill now had the best conference and they are only a third party developer.... poor show by the big guns poor show.

Award for most pathetic post ever goes to S1mon_azar1..... Please re read your post as it is rather embarrassing.... Only an idiot would even think you could watch a movie while driving??? You do realize a lot of people commute on public transport don't you??? Why even use such a stupid statement as an example???

Re: Sony E3 Press Conference - Discussion Thread 2am

To be fair Sony concentrated on games more than anything else, that also catered for all ages. Sony yet again showed awesome quality exclusives, as well as news about PS+ and what that service offers gamers.

" Starting June 6th, there will be an Instant Game Collection of 10 games to choose from, and be ready to download and play as part of the updated PS+ subscription. ( Three games being updated monthly )."

What Sony have done is give gamers good old gaming back to it's users unlike MS that showed the same old games but just better looking with NO new IP's ( while Sony showed new IP's ) as well as a service giving free games out to users if they are willing to take the plunge with PS+, and that's the important thing gamers wanted and needed to see / hear.

It could have been better, ( We all know this ) but from what has been shown so far, Sony has given the gamers more choice and selection in gaming.

The only thing that Sony anounced for me was the PS+ update everything elese we realy knew about.

They did not seem to connetrate on the Vita like I though they should have done

This reading thig would have been better suited for the Vita than the PS3.

TBH Microsoft was very poor Sony's was better but not by much.

As standard of E3 goes it was poor but I think they are holding stuff back (or I hope they are) for the next gen.

Sony did show some stunning games shame most are not my cuppa tea.

Last of Us and Halo 4 are the only exclusives for me which we already knew about.
