Hello Gamers!

Welcome to our spanking new E3 board, here for your use before and during this years Electronics Entertainment Expo.

This year the event hits the Los Angeles Convention Center between the 5th and 7th of June.  Even if you are not lucky enough to be attending, you can still discuss all of the speculation and announcements to emerge before and after E3 takes place.

Whatever you discuss, make sure it falls in line with the House Rules and if you're posting a new thread remember to check and see if the topic has not already been started.

Keep an eye out on au.playstation.com and blog.au.playstation.com in the up coming weeks for news and announcements.

Only about a week to go. I'm hanging to see more from these games:
The Last Of Us
Borderlands 2
PlayStation All Stars Battle Royal
Little Big Planet Vita

Also interested to see stuff from:
Dust 514
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Tomb Raider
Assassin's Creed III
God of War: Ascension

I think Sony need to announce a few huge vita titles to get the vita selling for the holiday season. A price drop on the PS3 would also be a great move. US$200 would be the sweet spot, but that might not happen till Gamescom later in the year.

Hi....not posted for a wee while, currently in Blighty due to the death of the old man...not been the best month tbh...

anywhoooo.....I'll be back next  Monday just in time for press conferences and I'm looking forward to them as E3 tends to be the most exciting gathering of the year in terms of announcements and what is shown....

I'm actually expecting this to be a little underwhelming , similar to last year......Nintendo has my interest piqued in just what they deliver hardware wise with the Wii U. 

Microsoft will blaze off with the usually new COD and some exclusivity deal...(Blackops 2) ...hit us with the next halo and forza and then underwhelm with Kinect...

I expect some possibly price jiggling from both Sony and MS on the now aging consoles....this would be good as I'm debating getting a new PS3...mmm ....

For me colour me excited about :

The last of us....really want to see some gameplay in action 

GTAV....will they show anything -give a release date???

and for me it's important The Last Guardian gets a very good showing and a release window as I fear after Ueda's departure (but still consulting) it will go down the gurgler...

I'd love to be amazed by some new hardware details/reveal ...but don't see it happening now..if it dows it will be a very well kept secret in an industry full of leaks...

I think Sony's focus will be Vita and new PS plus services linking the vita closer to the PS3...

So the Sony Conference is over and there was some pretty cool announcements throughout. For me it was all about Beyond: Two Souls & Last of us.  They both look like absolutely crazy games that will be day 1 purchases & will hopefully have Collectors or Limited editions.

The Last of Us... gold

God of War Ascension.... should be good

Assassins Creed 3 series... good stuff, and kudos on integrating the Vita

Resident Evil 6.... could be good, but not screaming must buy for me

Need For Speed Most Wanted... haven't we been there before?... with Criterion at the helm it could be good..

Splinter Cell.... haven't looked... the series kinda ended for me at SC3

and I know it's a Xbox exclusive... but, Forza entering the arcade racer domain?.... I'm not convinced... NFS didn't set the world alight crossing over with the Shift series, so I'm not sure Forza or GT5 belong in the arcade camp either...

imo better than poxbox! but a bit on the wii'ish side! all-stars is cut & paste smash bro's but long overdue! i'll bet a psn card that microsoftinthejocks has a similar game with kinect4 support on 720.... seriously impressed by the last of us... i'm just hoping the a.i. isn't super scripted!

As far as I can tell Overstrike was completely MIA from E3, that's making me doubt the game is still in development!
